Check out the Parasound amplifiers. They sound glorious, they are built
like a brick shithouse, and they are MUCH MORE REASONABLY PRICED! They
bury these others in bang for the buck and sound as good or better ;-)

What's your system/room like?
What's your amp now, and how does your system sound to you?
Which aspects of performance would you like to improve?

Bryston has an incredible warranty policy. I bought mine used, and 2 or 3
years after I bought it, the on/off switch stopped working (figures, the
only moving part). I sent it back to Bryston, and they found that the
person who owned it before me modified the internals. With my permission,
they removed the modifications, fixed the switch and replaced the power
cord, ALL FOR FREE! Their warranty lasts for 20 years, regardless of who
owns it. This is great news for resale. My Bryston 4B is close to 18 years
old, and I can probably sell it for close to what I paid 14 years ago and
feel good knowing that the buyer still has a 2 year warranty.

P.S., It sounds great too....

The Classe is a great looking piece (IMO heads and shoulders above
everything else there), and the aesthetics don't write any checks that
the sonics can't cover.

I'd buy the Bryston--because it's the most widely known and respected
name among the industry at large, and has a very good warranty.
All of this makes it easier to sell, should you ever decide to do that.

I can't speak about all the amps you listed but I have heard the Classe Ca
150. I did a direct comparrison with Parasounds HCA-2200II using a Parasound
pre-amp and the Classe left the Parasound amp in the dust. Classe is much
smoother with better bass and no grain in the treble at all. I can also say
that the Classe, with certain pre-amps, can have a treble that may be to laid
back for some (bring it home and try it before you buy it). But with most
quality pre's I think it will shine. I also listened to some of sunfire's
amps and was not that impressed. But to be fair I didn't listen to the model
you mentioned, never did a side by side comparrison, and can't tell you at
this time what about the sunfire I didn't like (it has been awhile since I
listened to it but after I did I removed it from my list of possible
purchases).

I agree with all who recommend Classe, These Amps are usually paired up with
nice gear ,speakers!!!! All others mentioned are NOT real hi-end......... the
Bryston 4b st is good for low end control, but not ultimate detail like maybe
Classe!!!Some say Classe is in the big hitter league Krell, Levinson.....Just my
thoughts!

Exectly what do you mean by "...NOT real hi-end...."?

WTF are you talking about?
LOL....The CA-300 is a muffled sounding, dynamic pancake. It's one of the most
bland, and unexiting amplifiers I've heard - you wanna talk about a lack of
detail? Sheesh!!!

The 4B is "miles" better sounding than the Classe: detailed, transparent, fast.
Something tells me that you have not heard either product in your own system;
do yourself a favor and listen to some amps!

The Classe is by far the best choice of these all. I owned the CA-300 and it
worked incredibly well with my Logan ReQuests. Bass control was superb, mids
are excellent. The highs do have a tendendcy to be too soft, or rolled off,
for some peoples tastes. Depending on your speaker choice though, this may be
the perfect match. Classe is very hard to beat in their range. Enjoy.
