I came across The D-Box Little David 301 subwoofer at Costco for 298$Cdn.,
and am wondering if anyone has tried or heard it.
Searching the net and the www.d-box.com web site I can only find information
and some reviews on the little david 300.

The 301 seems to be a slightly beefed up 300.

Specs from the carton side are

Speaker: 2 inch high efficiency
Voice Coil: 2 inch copper on aluminum former
Magnet: 3.75 pounds
Amplifier: 350 watts.
Frequency rsp: 25hz to 150Hz, +0db / -3db
Crossover freq: variable from 50hz to 150hz
Phase correction: variable from 0deg to 180deg.
size: 19 3/4 * 15 3/4 * 15 3/4
wight: 55lbs
. Inputs for line and speaker level
. Speaker level with -3db crosover at 85hz / 8 ohm
. auto on/off with signal detection
. reingforced construction with 3/4inch front baffle
. areodynamic tuned port

I've seen this sub in an audio mag, possibly SpeakerBuilder. It was being
marketed by Audio Concepts I believe. They probably licensed the design or are
trying a different target market. Can't vouch for quality of Costco version but
the outfit that was selling the Little David in the mag was reputable. Ad ran
fairly often 3-5 yrs ago.

I went back and bit the bullet, figure for 298$cdn it is hard to loose 8-)`.
Will post again when I get time to hook it up and give it a try, which
won't be till sometime next week 8-(.
