Former CDC Director Robert Redfield, now senior advisor to Governor Hogan in MD- "In the last 6-8 weeks, more than 40% of the people who died in Maryland were fully vaccinated"

Redstate adds this, "According to the Maryland Department of Health, 65.7 percent of adults in the state are fully vaccinated. "

This doesn't speak well for the efficacy of the vaccine keeping you alive at all.

The stat indicates vax is a good deal better than no vax

65% vax 40% of the deaths ratio is .61
35% no vax 60% of the deaths ratio is 2.17

Vax reduces death risk by 71%

Says the maryland.gov :

"Less than 0.71% of fully vaccinated Maryland residents later tested
positive for COVID-19."

99% seems efficacious enough. With two-thirds of the population now
vaccinated, breakthrough cases will be a greater percentage of the total.

"Of those cases, 1,842 vaccinated Marylanders were hospitalized,
representing 10.8% of all Covid cases hospitalized in the state. 233
fully vaccinated Marylanders have died, representing 8.36% of
lab-confirmed Covid deaths in the state."

Quoted here:
https://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2021/10/17/covid-19-in-maryland-more-than-800-new-cases-5-deaths-reported-sunday/

So 99% were safe from infection, those hospitalized of the remaining 1%
represent about 10% of total COVID hospitalizations and those that died
were about 10% of total COVID deaths.

Looking at the last eight weeks, it's 40% of total COVID deaths.

Not seeing a problem with the vaccines.

Which isn't close to the original efficacy numbers.

There is apparently a number of people for which Vax offers little help.
And the vax doesn't kill transmission so therapeutics like monoclonal Antibodies needs to be made available.
