Here's some more details:
Greetings... these speakers were given to me from a room mother from my
daughter's kindergarten. Her father was the original owner...and I'm
not acquainted with him, thus can't tell you much more. I can tell you
that for their age...my husband, (who is an audio buff...but not
"vintage JBL knowledgeable", although he is knowledgeable concerning
driver, woofer - cone condition...etc.) was in awe at the well
maintained condition of all of the components and encaseing. The pair
are beautiful cosmetically...with very minimal "mars" to the surface -
maybe two or three - which could be conditioned with "old english" or
other wood conditioner...I'd imagine...the only minimal few blemishes
on the wood have no surface indention...when you run your fingers over
the cabinet...absolutely no deep nicks or dings... The finish is
beautiful and rich in appearance. As far as the components go...The
foam and material on the drivers appears to be spotless, show no damage
or wear at all from their 40 year age. They play clearly and sound as
I suppose they should - even highs & lows? (forgive me...I'm not as
audio-endowed as my husband ...although I'm degreed in radio...ha)
What other specifics can I answer for you...cause I'm not exactly sure
what details to look for - other than component condition...&
encasement...etc. My husband just remarked that, considering speaker
fabrication usually tends to deteriorate with age...that the seemingly
flawless component condition is exceptional.
Thanks...

SOUNDS LIKE RIPOFF WITH HIDDEN EMAIL ADDRESSES AND PHONY PHONEDROPS.
RIPOFF ALERT!
Don't know about the hidden emails or phone drops, but $65 ain't the
right price for a JBL system like this.
