I am most likely going to buy a pair of these speakers very soon. I can
get a 6 month old pair for 40% reduction in price over new ones.
I was unable to find any reliable information on these speakers so far.
This is probably due to the fact that they are Danish speakers, and
therefore foreign to both USA and UK press. I do not read Danish or
German HiFi literature since I cannot read either of those
languages....you also cannot buy these magazines in Australia.
Does anyone know of a reliable review somewhere and can tell me the gist
of it? I auditioned these speakers on Cabridge Audio A3i and CD4 and
preffered its sound to other similarly priced speakers. They seemed more
controlled with much better presence than some touted audiophile
speakers. I am satisfied with my findings in the showroom, but I would
like to read a review as spending 3 hours in a showroom auditioning a
par of speakers is not the same as living with them for 5-6 years (or
more). A thorough review may expose some defficiencies that I would
notice over time.
Thanks a lot.

Victor,
According to some reviews I have seen these are good speakers if a
bit "dynamically challenged" ideally suited to smaller scale chamber
music, accoustical jazz etc. Mission 752 (Freedom?), TDL RTL3se and
Linn Kheilidhs were all ranked as better all rounders (Swedish mag
HiFi and Musik summer 96). They are hard to beat for style and build
though. Just my 5c.

Great, thanks for your reply! So nothing 'annoying' was reported for theses
speakers (eg. huge distortion in some frequency bands, odd harmonics...). And
I agree with the reviews that you spoke about. Jamos have a very flat low end,
which I do not mind, as long as its all there. What I liked about them was
that even at lower listening levels I felt as if the musicians were there in
the listening room, while with some other audiophile grade speakers of similar
price, the music sounded good and accurate, but sounded just as if someone put
a glass bell over the top of the speakers...distant and uninvloving...
Mission 752, TDL RTL2SE and Linn Kheilidhs are all unfortunately a bit beyond
my price bracket. In Australia, UK gear costs nearly twice as much as its
costs in the UK.

No anomalies reported, the test was made to select speakers as the last
component for the magazines recommended "package 30 000" i.e. 30 000 SEK
('bout 2250 GBP). The associated equipment was Adcom amps (I think the
545) and a Micromega stage 3 cd. The main letdown on the Jamo was "party
factor" for which they received a solid 0. The winners were the TDL RTL
3.
