Hi Amrik,
I've been running my SL-3 for over a year now on Regular monster but
bi wired. I just cut down the cables I already had after I figured out
I didn't need the length. I've noticed better definition since
then. If you have excess length and don't mind cutting the cables,
this won't cost you anything.
I've also had better performance from 250W/ch amps vs 100W/ch. I've
run the speakers with Acurus A250 and Krell KAV250. They seem to lack
oomph when run form 100W amps. IMHO

Hi, Cables in bi-wiring: Kimber 4TC came out best even on a very long
run of cables ( 12 meters on each side ! ) compared to Monster, Van
den Hull and Silvertech. Amp is Counterpoint NPS 100-E. The
introduction of a tubed pre-amp McIntosh C-22 ( coming from the
Audiolab 8000C ) gave me a vista into the high-end meaning of lush,
liquid and detailed sound. Now i'm hesitating between bi-amping the
Counterpoint and either ARC VT100 or Golden Tube 100 or Sonic Frontier

At one point in my life, I tried out the following cables by direct
comparision:
XLO, OCOS, Apature, Kimber 4TC, Audioquest (can't remember which), MIT
and Transparent. I currently favor the Transparent cables- the
dynamic range is much more than any of the other cables, mostly
because of a lower noise floor and because the low frequencies appear
to extend deeper. I would recommend calling the Cable Company which
will let you try out different
cables. You tell them which cables you want to try, and they send it
to you. There internet address is www.fatwyre.com. Also your dealer
may be able to help
you by loaning you cables. The best advice is to listen for yourself
and decide( try the MIT and Transparent stuff though).

I'm currently using single bi-wire Tara RSC 1000 in an 8 ft length
with a Krell KST-100. Everything seems okay in terms of
sonics.....just wish i didn't have those drapes behind.
