This is more what Smallville should be like. .6 miles of streets
surrounded by cemetaries, surrounded by 50 miles of cornfield until the
next town. One restaurant that closed on Halloween, one B&B, closed for
the season, one hotel that can accomodate up to 8 guests, no shopping
except for touristy knick knacks, 3 churches, no schools.
500 people, and the only food in town comes from the convenience store
I guess everybody drives an hour to the next town to buy food
or use indoor plumbing

Stargate Universe SGU: It puts the "U" in "SUCKS"!
It's the show 'Defiling Gravity' would be if DG had more regulars,
fewer abortions, worse writers, and no budget for lighting.
Remember, you can't spell "disgust" without SGU!
Farmers buy a lot of stuff online.

I bet there's no Suicide Slums.
W. Pooh (AKA Winnie P.)
exactly so.. instead they have made Smallville to Metropolis the
equivalent of Jersey City to New York.
Maybe the real cause of this mess is the ever changing Smallville Wiki.
Maybe you should get on Smallville Wiki right now and fix this mess.

Could a Jersey City superhero be bribed?

If he was all that, he'd be in the Apple, so fuggidaboudit.
That makes Tess = Kelly Lee Ripa.
Hey -- that's my town except we have a school and no motel. No traffic
lights to complicate things -- two banks -- no grocery -- one hardware --
ten churches at least and four pizza joints, all with BAD pizza -- you want
chinese -- it's in a can labeled "La Choy" at the Dollar General. But we
have a new library! Two books right now -- neither are checked out.
sounds nice- you guys have a synagogue?
No Jewish folks that I know of, probably because there are no bagels or
haberdashery -- some Catholics but no Catholic church. A few Muslims have
been living here for many many years. Fortunately the protestant churches
aren't the radical kind that jump around, scream and holler, wail and pull
their hair out and then go out and hang a Muslim.
Things were better when I was a kid -- we had two drug stores with old style
soda fountains (no egg creams though), two groceries, a bowling alley, a
pool room and an A&W root beer drive-in restaurant with car hops (that's now
a used car lot).
When I came home from the service in 1972, the world was wearing bell
bottoms and paisley shirts or leather garments. The people here were
wearing tennis shoes, faded jeans and a T-shirt with a logo or saying. I
moved back here last Christmas and the people are wearing running shoes,
faded jeans, a T-shirt with a logo or saying. Formal wear for church or
funeral is a plain t-shirt. The people don't change much but I miss the
soda fountains and the root beer.
It's also easy to know who the disabled are here, they're the ones with new
cars.
actually that could be unfortunate (depending on the Muslim).
Would have been nice if they did that exactly when that muslim army
shrink was just passing through.

Hope they are not the exact same ones.
That thought never crossed my mind but now that you mention it....
Which thought never crossed your mind? the muslin army shrink hanging
by the yardarms or your neighbors wearing the same cloths from 35 years
ago (hope they washed them at some point)?
yeah that one. :-)
Just joshing you -- the latter one. What are "cloths"? Swaddling cloths?
And the word is "worshed", like in "I gotta go an worsh my feet, cuz I dun
steeped in hot tar."
thought it was pronounced "hot tarrrr".
Those fellers south o'here tend to draw out ther words a might -- ignorant
bunch o' hill billies.
