.
Yay. That's the lesson you've learned from the Letterman scandal,
followed by the defense by Democrats saying, "It's a-okay to attack
children and/or pregnant teens", and concluding with the hated-
republican Palin's resignation because she was sick of her family
being abused.
Whose children are you going to attack next, in hopes of forcing a
resignation from a Republican governor?
.
Well, when Rush did it to Chelsea Clinton, I don't recall Bill's
resignation, or Hillary leaving political life. I guess he was a
little tougher than Sarah Barracuda. That's the trouble with modern
republicans--they like to envision themselves as the tough town-tamer,
but in reality they're the prissy dude made to dance by the local
louts shooting at their feet.

We're hoping Terry Sanford doesn't resign--too much entertainment
value, but he's probably going to get sued by a romance novelist for
plagiarism.
because KKKlintax didn't care about anything but power.
Put yourself into the spotlight, proclaim that children should not be
given sex education while your own underage daughter gets pregnant then
you open yourself up to ridicule.
D'uh.
..
--
We must change the way we live,
or the climate will do it for us.
Let's see:
-- Sarah Palin dragged her pregnant teenaged daughter the the scared
shitless teenaged father onto the national stage and set them up as an
example of how knocked-up teenagers should act.
-- She dragged around the country a 6-month-old Down's Syndrome child,
hefting him around like a sack of taters.
-- Ditto for the rest of her kids.
No one has attacked her children. What's been attacked is her
hypocritical use of the children as props then trying to hide behind
them when the going gets tough.
Let's see:
-- Sarah Palin dragged her pregnant teenaged daughter the the scared
shitless teenaged father onto the national stage and set them up as an
example of how knocked-up teenagers should act.

So then Obama's kids are fair game?
What a dope.
Personally I'm a little disappointed that the pitbull with lipstick has
now become just a dog with fleas.
Agreed.
The children! Won't somebody think of the children?

Shit...if it's THAT easy...let's do it. Well worth the "suffering" of a few
rich kids who would be taunted anyway over their dipshit Republicunt parents

Anyone think Troy was teased by the other kids?
I think Troy is still teased by kids.
I think he's still being teased by kids.
And then whining about it. Laura Bush didn't even whine that much when
her girls were constantly caught underage drinking. You can't have it
both ways publically parading your kids and then bitching when people
are watching them.

ONCE! Limbaugh made that joke ONCE! And you liberals wear it like
that's all he did for eight years. He apologized and yet you won't let
it go. It's been almost 16 years. And you libs still hang your hat on
"LIMBAUGH JOKED ABOUT CHELSEA!!!!" Like it absolves you for any blame in
attacking Briston or Willow Palin. It doesn't.
___________________________________________________________________________________
no, you are just spinning it so you can make yourself feel good about
attacking a child.
GREAT TO BE YOU!
Let's see:
If you think that, faggot. You are indeed a pitiful human being.
Is David Letterman a registered Democrat? I'm sure you'll provide
proof one way the other.
Name one, just one, Democratic official... elected, appointed or hired
(such as a party official) who has attacked any of Palin's children?
Back in the '90s, John McCain told a joke about Chelsea Clinton when
she was a young girl. Have any Democratic Senators told jokes about
any of Palin's kids?
When Palin was sparring with Letterman recently, she referred back to
an instruction candidate Obama made publicly to his campaign staff,
volunteers and Democrats in general... kids and families are off
limits during the campaign. Unfortunately for Palin, she thought he
was also telling the press and comedians such as Letterman that kids
and families are off limits. Otherwise, why would she have referenced
that in one of the public statements she made to/about Letterman?
Tom
I'm still waiting for some of your outrage over Letterman's disgusting
jokes about Palin's daughters, hypocrite. Perhaps you need time to
compile them? :)
That's going in my quote file for a sig line!!! Hope you don't
object... :)
bj
How many jokes about how many of the daughters were there, brainiac?
> when her girls were constantly caught underage drinking. ...
Bush's daughters were full adults. WOMEN not girls. In contrast
Letterman and his Democratic apologists made jokes about the sex-rape
of a 14-yr-old (this year) and a 17-yr-old (last year) - both of whom
were still children. They should be completely and totally off-limits
until they pass their 18th birthday.

Ridicule is fine, but saying a 14-year-old should be raped by a 33-
year-old man is crossing the line from criticism to child pron.

That's because Lush Rimbaugh never criticized Chelsea while she was an
underage child.
Also it's a mistake to assume all Republicans approve of Lush's
antics. I certainly don't. He disgusts me almost as much as Democrat
Rachel Maddow. They sacrifice integrity for entertainment, and I'd
rather not listen to either of them.
Child pron is the worst.
Glad I could help.
Who said that? No one said a 14 year-old girl should be raped by a 33
year-old man.
Please provide video proof of the exact quote.

You're delusional. Letterman was making fun of the unwed teen-mother,
not her younger sister. More importantly, it was Palin's hypocrisy
that has been the subject of comment for months, not her daughter's
out-of-wedlock pregnancy.
The difference isn't that subtle.

No one said that. That's four words.
No.
One.
Said.
That.
Was Letterman's joke funny? Hell, no. But misrepresenting
it for your own purpose (whatever that is), is useless.
THEN, you try for a goal:

He said it in October 1993. Chelsea was born in 1980.
I'm sure even you can do the math on this one.
You're a fucking idiot (or troll). You don't get to pick.
You report, we decide.
HTH, HAND, fucktard.
"SFTV [Science Fiction television] Troy" has always been considered
fairly much a total idiot, even over 20 years ago when I was posting
in the rec.arts.sf.tv newsgroup.
He was thought a bad joke in that newsgroup for well-over a decade.

I suspect Troy still very much is.

Doesn't matter. He was making those jokes LAST year (during the

children is never acceptable.

deficient.
You've never seen the Rachel Maddow Show, have you? Otherwise, you'd

It does matter. We're not talking about last year, we're talking about
Letterman's jokes about Willow, or whatever her name is.
BTW, please tell us some of the jokes Letterman told about the Palin's
unwed, pregnant daughter. Just make it one joke...
Tom
She doesn't have a killfile. She just says "plonk" a lot and then
starts responding to your posts when she decides she approves again.
They're just twisting facts to suit their argument. Letterman thought
Palin was at the ballgame with Bristol, not Willow, when he said it.
But people have been wanking to the idea of it being a 14 year old ever
since.

He made a joke about "Sarash Palin's daughter getting knocked-up
during the 7th inning" by one of the ball players. So which daughter
was at the game? That's who the joke was about.

but he did, made a comment about her being a dog. And it was roundly

Just like a few years ago when a MSNBC guy said that Hillary was pimping
Chelsea, even though Chelsea is well into adulthood, the MSM said you
couldn't attack her despite being a adult and despite working on her mom's
campaign to be president.

He never said it was Willow, and he thought she had been at the game

False. You can find the video on youtube, or simply read what he
said: "Top Ten Highlights Of Sarah Palin's Trip To New York ....
(snip).... One awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game,
during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked-up by Alex
Rodriguez."
He didn't specify which daughter but astute people know the only
daughter present was the 14-year-old. Letterman knew it, and his
writing staff knew it. They are not idiots.
He never said she "should be raped" by a 33 year old man.
Given your comments, Bristol was "raped" by her boyfriend since she was
15 at the time. Palin put her "principles" and children into the
forefront. She is in no position to whine. If she wanted to protect
them, she should have left them home in Alaska.

"Astute people" didn't give a shit about the Palins or that they were

Nonsense. There was, and is, plenty of criticism of the protection

year.

No, genius, I said show me a quote where someone in the so-called MSM
said you couldn't attack Chelsea Clinton. And by "attack" I don't mean
a slip-up from a tired anchor who'd been on duty since before 5 a.m.

"Protected" by whom? And from what? In fact, Shuster spent the day
apologizing. If Hillary Clinton had accepted that and moved on, she'd
have come off as generous. Instead, she more or less demanded his job.
That was over the line, and that's exactly when she lost an already
unfriendly press. Shuster's well-liked in the business. Witness that
his career has taken off since all this happened.

Oh jeez
Now you're just a liar...
Here's what you wrote:

Here's my reply:
"Princess, please provide one cite in which anyone from the NEWS
media,
not an entertainer such as Letterman, attacked Palin's children.
Just one. That's all, One.
Tom"
Here's your reply:
"davis shuster! a anchor for MSNBC. Not a 'talk show host', not
a
'entertainer', a NEWSMAN! do try to follow. Assclown."
So, to recap, you said Shushter attacked Palin's kids, but provided no
proof. Then you said Shuster attacked Chelsea and that us stupid
fucking liberals should learn to read.
From where I sit, reading isn't the problem...
BTW, who's davis shuster? I thought his name is David Shuster.
Remember, words and spelling are important.
Tom
Where's the link, liar?
I'm happily married to my female wife. You may like women, but you've
never been with one.
Now, back to the topic at hand... Please provide a link of David
Shuster attacking Palin's kids.
Tom
Here's my reply:
Tom"
Here's your reply:
Tom
Sorry, jackass. You don't set the rules! I do! I said my peace, if
you don't like it, that's on you. No go away, you bother me.
Tom
sorry, that's all you get.
So, in other words, you've got nothing. You can't provide proof to
backup your lies, so now you say YOU set the rules. You're laughable,
you fucking coward.
BTW, the proper phrase is "I've said my PIECE." Not PEACE... peace is
something conservatards like you know nothing about.
Why do you hate education? Why do hate the importance of words?
Why do you hate yourself?
Tom
Because that's all you've got, chicken shit.
You're like every other usenet blow hard... you've nothing to back up
what you spew.
Tom
Yes, it did, and everybody in the building knew that Shuster was taking
the hit for Chris Matthews, whom the Clinton campaign despised.
Understanding that (Shuster said so at the time), Shuster didn't
complain about the suspension, and playing the good soldier was key to
his later (and current) success.
Happily, the "pimping" comment wound up not hurting Shuster at all. I
think it did wind up hurting Hillary, though.
Tom
I hope someone kills you. You really need to die.
Tom
now go back jerking off to your picture of Keith Olbermann!

Do note that Cloddreamer is admitting that Letterman's joke was about
the 14 year old.

Not to mention she could have advised Bristol to use birth control.
