JAMIL:

I accidentally misgendered someone who was rude to me on here because I did
not know they were NB. I instantly corrected myself but NOBODY reads your
bios, people. *PLEASE* include your pronouns in your screen name to prevent
misunderstandings/offense if it's important to you.

sMEGma THE GENDER GOBLIN replies:

For what it's worth, the black community has asked that we use 'enby' for
nonbinary people, as NB typically mean 'non black'. I only know this because
someone corrected me a while ago, so I try and share the info.

To which JENN KUNZ replied:

Folks just need to be careful because some non-binary people find enby to be
infantilizing and really dislike it. Been told off a few times for using it.
When in doubt, use the full term "non-binary".

To which BTR1701 replies:

Actually, Jenn, the hyphen in 'non-binary' is super problematic. It yokes two
words together in an orthographical celebration of heteronormativity.

Also, 'non-binary' is an anagram of 'nabon riny', which is Malagasy for 'I'm
sorry'. This implies that queer folx should repent or something.

Do better.

Seek help. Or, alternately, go see Zuckerberg at the White House like
Trump did. On the right batshit crazy is the new normal.

So you didn't think Eunuch Derp was speaking English either? I can't
believe we agree on something!

The last thing I want to do is hurt you, but it is still on my list.

Well done! You could have a great career as a "Woke" Educator if you
wanted it. ;-)

Good job!

Where are the apologies for referring to "people" those who identify as
cats?
