And your COMPLAINING?

It's my bet, though, that it was funnier than anything he ever uttered on
"Silver Spoons".

This was about a year after the Silver Spoons series ended.

Higgins appeared in an ABC sitcom a few years back as a monsignor
of a rectory in Chicago. Stephen Furst co-starred in this sitcom,
which I don't know the name of. Does anyone remember this show?

What's the story of actor Joel Higgins, who played the character Rick
Stratton II in the 1980's sitcom, Silver Spoons? I have not heard his
name mentioned on television for about seven to eight years now.

The last show I remember him co-starring was actually a television
movie about a western. In the movie, his character is in a saloon,
and gets shot in the right hand. The character is okay, since he
is still standing and bandages his hand. In fact, he says something
funny, but I can't remember what. This was about a year after the
Silver Spoons series ended.

The western comedy was called "Best of the West".

Yeah, it was "Have Faith." It was okay, but I feel sorry for Stephen Furst
now, considering that was the best gig he could get after St. Elsewhere.

Joel has been in a few TV movies and series since the wretched Silver
Spoons went off. The other show you were talking about was Best of the West.
It was usually LOL funny, but had some poor episdes too. I think it aired for a
few months in 1982. Was Silver Spoons after this? That was among the least
funny, most sickening shows ever to air, IMHO.

I used to love "Salvage 1" with Joel and Andy Griffith around 1979-80.
It wasn't great, but was amusing and very different. As a space buff, I
enjoyed it. ;)

Thanks for your information on Mr. Higgins! I was hoping that a fellow
newsgroup contributor could please post the lyrics to the theme song
for "Silver Spoons." I can hear the beginning line, "Here we are, face
to face," but I really cannot make the rest out. I have a hearing loss
in both ears, wear hearing aides, and have difficulty hearing any music
or words in a lot of songs.

By the way, I have just purchased the compact disc, "Tube Toons Volume
II," and the show theme is on this, so this is why I am asking.
