I was wondering, I could have sworn I heard that Starsky (Paul Glazier?)
died from AIDS a year or two back. Can anyone verify this? Also, I
remember that his wife got AIDS from him, although she's still alive at this
time. Any info would be appreciated.

I don't believe he has AIDS, and I do not believe that he's dead either. I
know his wife contracted AIDS,I believe from surgery. She started a
foundation is So. California.

I believe he is still alive. I also believe that the wife got it from
a blood transfusion, and then one of her kids died from AIDS. I am not
sure if it has been mentioned that Paul has the virus or not.

Actually, Paul has not died, his oldest child did (from AIDS) and
his wife is HIV positive (from a blood transfusion when she was
giving birth). His son also is HIV positive. His wife is the
founder of the Pediatrics AIDS Alliance (or something like that)
and helps to raise money for AIDS research.

As far as I understood, it was his wife and son who had AIDS. When I worked
at the "F-15 Combined Test Force" here at Edwards Air Force Base, he came for
a tour with his wife and son. It was part of the make-a-wish foundation stuff
that they do for kids with terminal diseases, although I don't think they gave
his son an F-15 ride, which is what he really wanted. They did give him a taxi
ride though. And, his son has since died.

Paul Glaser's wife and son are HIV positive - they also lost a child to

BTW, I saw a poster in the movie theatre this weekend advertising a
movie starring Kevin Bacon. It seems to be about recruiting an
African to play basketball in the US (hasnt that plot idea been done
before?). Anyway, it is directed by Paul M. Glaser. No date was
mentioned, just "Coming Soon".
