Secrets of a Marine's Wife (movie) (8 pm, Lifetime Channel)

Secrets of a Marine’s Wife is based on the true story of 19-year-old Erin
Corwin (Sadie Calvano), who was married to U.S. Marine Corporal Jon Corwin
(Evan Roderick) and expecting her first child, when she suddenly went
missing. Erin’s disappearance sparked a grueling search led by family,
friends and local law enforcement in the extreme conditions of the Joshua
Tree National Park until her body was found two months later at the bottom
of an abandoned mineshaft. Suspicions mounted quickly in the tight knit
Marine community, and residents began to wonder if the killer was one of
their own. In their investigation, detectives uncover a friendship turned
illicit relationship between Erin and her neighbor, Marine Christopher Lee
(Tom Stevens), which consumed them both and called into question the
paternity of Erin’s baby. Was this a motive for murder? Who was
responsible? Investigators work to discover answers to these questions and
to unmask who killed Erin Corwin.

College Bowl was hosted by Allen Ludden until he got Password, and
afterward it was hosted by Robert Earle. Both did a good job. The
show was sponsored by General Electric, whose logo was all over the
place. GE College Bowl was widely respected, and a school being on the
show was an indicator of institutional excellence. There was a
one-shot attempt to revive College Bowl in the '80s, with Pat Sajak as
host. I thought that version was as good as the original.

Now the show is being hosted by a football player and his
I've-never-heard-of-him brother. Are you frackin' kidding me?

Didn't you just post that you had never heard of this show? I know its

This is a local (San Diego) case, so I know all about it, but I like
Sadie Calvano so I will watch.

I find it interesting that Hallmark is trying to base a new movie

I know who Jebo is, but not Wilson, which is unusual for a Lifetime flick...

Say what?

NNOOOOOO!!! We were originally supposed to get at least 20 episodes
this season!! :(

This is still high on my list of shows to get through. I may try to get
through this in the back-half of summer.

Sounds like something that should be on Lifetime...

OK, I think I assumed this was a sequel to "Cold Pursuit", but it looks
like that is not the case...

Boy that doesn't sound good.

Really wish LMN would go back to running stuff on Friday nights! On the
plus side, it does allow me to watch movies off streaming on Fridays...

Also, Robin missed this, but:

Van Helsing (fifth and final season finale) airs on June 25

This is Robin‘s list that I post before reading to get it out in a timely
fashion.

Yes I mentioned I had never heard of MFS a day or two ago. I often just
glaze over reports on shows I haven’t seen when replying here. When I was
on a computer I would delete things that I wasn’t commenting on to make
them the posts more legible and shorter. That’s sometimes much more
difficult on the iPhone and I may leave stuff there.

To catch a spy is the TV movie I mentioned about a month ago that I
couldn’t get the DVR to find after I saw multiple ads for it and finally
set it to record anything with Natalie Kelly. Which by a bizarre
coincidence found the fast and the furious Tokyo drift which was the first
free F & F movie I’ve managed to find.

I'll be watching this and maybe EVIL'f final season as there's no way
the show is going to get another season over on the Paramount
streaming platform.

Moving this to a streaming service I have no intention of subscribing to

I've still got much of season 2 sitting on the DVR unwatched. I was
annoyed by the all-new criminal conspiracy aspect (introduced at the end
of season 1) and her lack of casual sex.

It's the wrong fertility specialist!
