The one thing i hated about Northern Exposure was that they never seemed
to list in the credits the music they played. And they had a lot of
interesting music. I'm hoping someone will be able to identify for me
one very interesting piece that started out something like this:

"Sitting on a moonbeam watching all the cows go by." And the refrain
went something like this: "Toy cows in Africa, toy cows."

Anyone know this music, who performed it, etc.?

This song was in the episode where Chris and his "brother" were having
the same dreams.

It was, oddly enough, "Toy Cows in Africa," and was performed by a band
named "Chance."

Thanks for the info on this! That question has been bugging me (off and
on) ever since the episode originally aired. I shall now be better able
to sleep at night... but of course the refrain is still coursing through
me head.
