The Explosive Finale!
Daisy Betts is back! Now Ian *has* to watch!
Kate feels guilty that she didn't take her last chance to hurt Jim
before he dies. I *hate* Kate. (Jim proposed and she's guilty that he
died heroically without her telling him that the answer was NO and that
instead she was going to ruin CO, Maxine, and Ryan's chance to be a
family).
They find a boat with dying radioactive PEOPLE on it and ... bring them
aboard Hammersley to make them comfortable?? And even though these guys
make Gieger counters play "Tie Me Kangaroo Down" all you need is little
rubber gloves to protect yourself. Can you actually tell somebody has
Cesium poisoning when they got it by looking at the stuff?
So Jim and Swain are on the boat with the dirty bomb; Cesium and Centex.
Jim can't stop the timer, but he can separate the Cesium and the Centex,
and then they dump the radioactive material in the water ... say WHAT?
How about putting it in the tender and getting it (and you) clear? How
about dumping the Centex in the ocean instead? How about jumping
overboard yourself rather than sit there watching the timer count down??
How about with 4 seconds left on the clock you rip it out with your bare
hands or shoot it or something - what's the worst that can happen, it
goes off 4 seconds early?
Fake out on Dutchy death; he handily recovers from being shot in the
heart at point blank range with nothing but a little sling for that arm.
Dutchy is *tough*!
I was right; assassinating the terrorist money guy didn't slow them down
a bit. And they never caught anybody but apparently fanatical suicide
delivery men anyway.
More A-Team action as they spray machine guns at each other harmlessly -
at least the Navy starts shooting back immediately this time - but wait!
They're actually shooting the bad guys! Dead! It took dozens of people
firing hundreds of rounds, but they got them both! :D
Madelaine turns out to be the evil we always suspected, taking money
from the now unfunded terrorist to tip 'em off and help them destroy an
OZ port ... there's somebody that deserved a grisly end almost as much
as XO, and didn't get one either.
I was *not* expecting the Animal House "where they are now" ending:

**okay, that's just great, in character, his time in the Navy didn't
straighten him out at all - I love it!

**guess that was inevitable. Since Maxine's husband just died, now they
can get married and straighten Ryan out.
KATE AND MIKE MARRIED.
THEY ARE EXPECTING THEIR FIRST CHILD.
**NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Poor poor Mike! It's a tragic ending afterall!
No word on what became of Max or Ryan. And again ... how much time has
passed? If I were CO I'd sure as heck be calling for a paternity test,
although there is some poetic justice in him raising another man's son.
I kind of wish 2Dads had run off with Bomber. Wonder whatever happened
to her?
So the Hammersley herself survived, and is out there with a totally new
crew? That we'll never seel?? Damn you evil tax credits that expire
after so many episodes.
This was a fun little show. Never brilliant, but usually good hearted,
and (when they weren't centering on XO) always enjoyable. I'm going to
miss her. Sniffle.

2) Maxine forced Kate to break up with Mike, so she could take her move on him again.
3) 4 seconds is not enough to take yourself to safety. They would get hit by the fire, debris of the vessel and the explosion. The Hammersley may get the chance then of picking them up, but they would have died from their severe wounds.
4) Matt (he plays Swain) wanted to go out at the end of Season 5 with a bang.
5) Madeleine Cruise didn't shot Dutchy in the heart, the bullet went in his hand.
6) The powerpoint in the end is with the plans of what have happend in seasons 6 till 10. They were planning on making 10 seasons of Sea Patrol, but the funding stopped after season 5. So the time between this seasonsfinal and the powerpoint must be around 5 years more or less.
7) There are Australian Navy people in Afghanistan.
8) It's not because someone is 'planning' to join the navy, they do it the same year. This 'planning' fase of Chloé actually can happen at the age of 10 for example.
9) Mike had lots of promotions during the serie, so it's more then logical he gets promoted.
10) It's no surprise that Mike and Kate got married and having babies. 'cause during the show it was very obvious how much they cared for each other. And if you've truly looked and listened to the last episode, you hear them say to each other, they only can imagine to marry the other and no-one else.
So I wonder, have you truly looked to the serie? 'cause I've found at least 10 mistakes in your text.
