Several years ago, I saw a TV movie about a step brother and step sister
falling in love. The father of the boy was played by Patrick Duffy. I
can't remember who played the mother of the girl.

The boy was a really good student and planning to go to med school .
In the end, they run away to talk about their relationship and decide to
continue to date.

Anyone know the name of this show?

Thanks!
Shelley

Can't remember the name of the movie, but I do remember it. Patrick Duffy was not in
it, though. Bill Bixby played the father, and Megan Follows (Anne of Green Gables)
was the daughter. It comes on a lot on Lifetime, mostly on the weekends.

From the Internet Movie Database:

Sin of Innocence (1986) (TV)

When David, a widower with a teenaged son, marries Vicki, who is divorced and
has a teenaged
daughter, it's sure to be a happy family. But the kids, Tim and Jenny, become
romanticly attracted
to each other. Which makes David and Vicki VERY uncomfortable, and Vicki's
ex-husband,
Andy, furious. It's no longer a happy family in this household.

The movie was called "Sin of Innocence" (1986). A fairly good movie, but the
stepbrother and stepsister don't continue their relationship at the end: the
son moves out in order to end it. Kind of a tear-jerker actually.
