Here is the trailer:

So, is THE PUNISHER going to actually kill the bad guys or just the
bazillion minnions who work for the bad guys?

“John Wick” had better gun porn.

In all these decades he's never killed The Kingpin or Norman Osborn (not

this is a side effect of him being created by Marvel's worst writer,
Gerry Conway, who claims specific credit for every feature of the
character, despite all these claims being outright lies, contradicted by
pretty much everybody else who worked for Marvel at the time.

Here's a list of characters "killed by Punisher" and ... I don't even
know who they are. I suspect they were invented just to be killed:

http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Killed_by_Punisher

Note that while a lot of names there may sound familiar, they're all
alternate world versions; Earth 616 is the 'real' Earth. I assume the
non 616ers were killed by alternate versions of The Punisher so they
don't count. The 616 victims are nobodies, many of which don't even
have two names.

I'm going to hope that all of the Netflix Marvel characters continue to
stick with this Earth/reality.

Actually Marvel collapsed the multiverse a while ago and it's now a
single comboverse. For instance, both Spider-Men, Peter Parker and
Miles Morales, are now on what is mostly the old 616, despite having
been in different realities before.

If he kills the head bad guy in the first episode, it's not going to be
a very long-running series. I expect he'll "work his way up the food
chain" with occasional brushes with the more senior people.

Yes, on The Netflix, like The Daredevil and The Luke Cage.

With more violence and deaths. I'm in.

To be clear...it hasn't been released yet. Supposedly later in 2017,
but you have to look *really* close ;-) at the end of the trailer to see
the exact date:
