The Walking Dead Marathon

Maybe you’ve been meaning to check out “The Walking Dead” but haven’t
managed to get around to it sometime in the last six years. AMC is
trying to make it easy for you to catch up with an 88-hour “marathon” of
sorts starting on Sunday, Oct. 16. AMC won’t quite be airing all 88
episodes of “The Walking Dead” in a row. Season 1 and the first half of
Season 2 will air on Sunday, starting at 7 a.m. ET, leading up to a
special two-hour retrospective on the series' acclaimed six seasons at 9 pm.

Throughout the rest of the week, each evening from 6 p.m. through the
wee hours of the morning, the remainder of the 88 episodes will run. The
marathon will conclude with the Season 6 finale and its cliffhanger that
caused at least 14.2 million ulcers, just before the Season 7 premiere
on Oct. 23 at 9/8c.

Maybe you got bored of all the big stupid, and Jackass John Barrowman
got you to give up on it's follow up show as well.

Why would they possibly retitle it?

I'm guessing that's the new one (there's been two other "adaptations"
of the book), then it's season 1 and there's a second season in the
planning.

It starts here in New Zealand next week ...

The Durrells
Prime, 8:30pm, Wednesdays (starts 26 October)

I vaguely remember watching one of the previous versions, but not sure
which one, although I think I would have remembered Brian Blessed if it
was the one he was in.

Will watch.

I saw the 10 minute preview...characters literally hiding in a closet.
Well, one of them anyway. Excellent job of setting up the cop character
(Julianne Nicholson) and the bad guy as being interesting, but the blond
teen boy's character is just too incredibly stupid for words.

The change is subtle, but allows people to find it on the DVR keyword
search.

I am once again embarrassed to admit that I will be checking this out. I
don't know what it is about this series that leads me to abandon all
testosterone for a couple of hours every time a new movie comes out.

I lost interest several years ago, around the time The Governor magically
caught up with Andrea several feet from Rick's stronghold and the lookout.

Jebus, is he involved with that now?

A poorly-written book at that.

Susan Sarandon is an idiot.
