Concerns and ex-soldier/cop turned private detective. Unlike a lot of Brit mysteries, this one is set in London. The detective is tasked by a brother of an old friend to find out what happened to a girl who died. A temp office manager goes to his office. The detective is kind of Columbo rumpled while the temp is young and hot.

It is quite good. There's been four mini-seasons so far (11 episodes).

It's based on the "Cormoran Strike" books by 'Robert Galbraith' ...
which is a really penname used by JK Rowling for her books aimed at
adult readers (partly to deter Harry Potter fans from wanting to read
them). Some people think the books are better than the TV show.

There is a fifth and sixth book being written, but reamins to be seen
if they make it to TV.
