That one was more in the grand tradition of "Inspector Morse" than most
of them have been. 32 corpses! Well, I lost track at 27.

Very little of what happened in the beginning had anything to do with the
resolution. When Lewis made the cracks about the haunted hospital, I
was thinking of the movie "The Frighteners" and several tv series.

The mystery came together for me once we saw the picture of "the twins".
The only mystery for me is, why the hell didn't Hathaway gleen the
answer as soon as Lewis did? It was like he turned off his brain at
that moment. Hathaway's religious reveal was pointless.

Was Dr. Laura actually a suspect? Would she attempt to cover up giving
birth to twins? C'mon.

Not a terribly entertaining episode, and I can live without incest,
which seems to have kept up even once the two of them were informed.
Gah! She had three miscarriages in less than a year? Is that even possible?

When was this shown in the US?
I saw it on September 8 (Australian TV), and 3 weeks have already dimmed my
memory of it.

Definitely possible to miscarry three times in a year. My friend did. She then had a fourth pregnancy which resulted in her daughter, but only because she had a stitch put in her cervix to keep it closed until full term was reached.
