Alex told Louie he was using the machine to exploit Jim and and some of
the other cabbies, but Louie was not about to listen. I don't recall how
the machine ended, but it was a great storyline.

I remember that episode very well. It started with Louie explaining to
Jim how to play the game. I had never played Pac Man at that point and
Louie's explanation was instrumental in turning me on to the game. I'm
sure I'm not unique in that respect. I wouldn't be surprised if
someone at the network got a big payoff for getting that episode on the
air.
