So how does anybody know what's on this? The cable guide just says
"Viewer's Choice" and the on screen burn just says "Viewer's Choice"

Do people just blindly turn it one and watch all night? Or are enough
people interested they go to a website or something to find out what's
showing?

Ian?

I presume there is a website which gives the selections; indeed,
probably a longer term schedule than the cable guide.

I do wish the cable guide had the actual selections.

But most LMN selections are pretty lame.

Lifetime had a Kristen Stewart movie on that was pretty good and
showed her talent "Speak", I guess they're pushing her early work
since she's a major now.

For really early work check out "THIS" cable channel movies, like
Resse W's first movie. Also has Sea Hunt on late a night.

That'd be my guess - I'm sure they're up on LMN's website.

This is why, to answer Fred's question, I skip LMN on 'Viewer's
Choice' night - if my cable guide can't tell me what's on, I'm
generally not going to go to the LMN website just to find out, and I'm
certainly not going to sit watching LMN just to find out what they're
airing!

Just checked. The schedule comes up blank. :)

Nothing will EVER beat "Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?" for cheesy
made-for-TV movie titles. lol Tori Spelling. lol

On our cable selector, it's way up there.

I used to watch Sea Hunt many years ago and thought it was neat.
Today it doesn't come as good, although the photography is excellent
(better than I'd expect for a low-budget show). Today it seems very
hokey and overdramatic, with very dubious plot lines.

Example: They found an old war sub loaded with extremely dangerous
leaking chemicals--even a single touch would make a man go crazy.
Imagine Spock when he was 'in heat'. Not hard to do since it was
Leonard Nimoy who played the man who made the discovery. Solution--
blow it up. Wouldn't that merely disperse the danger all over the
place?

Also, the portrayal of men and women was noticeably different back
then and sexist by today's standards. The show was mostly men. The
few women would simply scream and get hysterical when something went
wrong and were helpless without the men to clean things up.

Sometimes LMN has an on screen "pop up" with "you're watching . . ."

LMN is pretty heavy with the "pop ups". I found them most annoying.

The majority of their offerings are pretty lame, somebody psycho is
driving everyone else crazy with their "secret". But from time to
time something tolerable is shown. The comedies are ok. The
"Northern Lights" wasn't bad (though wasn't that the show where the
two leads left their respective spouses for each other?)

When that was first announced, I sent the info to a friend of mine who
was at the time a Disney story artist. He was originally insistent I
was making it up. When he realized it was real, he started a countdown
notice on his cubical

ONLY TEN MORE DAYS 'TIL
MOTHER, MAY I SLEEP WITH DANGER?

Of course, his co-workers then insisted that HE was making it up!

Probably. It's not like Lifetime movies give you any real surprises.
You know what you'll be getting if you've seen a few of them.
