Anybody have any information on the passing of actor Mark Frankel
(Kindred, Fortune Hunter)? In Friday's Variety there was a full-page
memorial tribute to him. Was he ill (and that perhaps a contributing
factor to Kindred's cancellation)?

Dear Bill & Mark Frankel Fans,
I was absolutely sick and have been in mourning since I heard this--what a

I am glad to see I was not the only one who noticed his death. I read
about it in Entertainment Weekly and was really shocked. He died at the
age of 34 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in London.

What a shame. Not only was he gorgeous, but I thought he had a great
future ahead of him as an actor.

Yes. This is reminiscent of the death of John Erik Hexum a decade ago.
It's really a shame, as I thought Frankel had great potnetial.

A friend of mine shared this article with me. I thought I'd post it
here in case anyone was interested. He was such a good actor on
Sisters , I was looking forward to seeing him in some more films
or shows.

You've both just shocked the shit out of me and made me bawl my eyes
out. I loved Mark Frankel and I had no idea that he had died. I
haven't watched much TV or read anything for the past week or so, so I
hadn't heard anything.

I was mesmerized by him the first time I saw him on screen in "Young
Catherine" and then my heart melted again when he became Teddy's love
interest Simon Bolt on Sisters.

This man was very talented, and had a very bright future ahead of him
as a leading man in Hollywood. I am heartbroken that I will never
see him on screen again.

The very sad,
Paula
