I thought it was even better after I watched it.

Strong ending bumps it from a B+ to an:

A-

And what appeared to happen at the end did not happen IMO.

But T-Bag is a dead man.

4.5 stars. Not as enjoyable as the first 10 episodes, but it is still much
better than most TV programs. The problem with the most recent 2 episodes is
that as the show has been renewed, the producers got to choose who stays and
who goes, also add new replacements. I have no doubt those who depart will
have their own shows in the new fall lineup, and "Poison Break" won't be
weakened too much when they return. But it still sucks. I like things as
they are.

Well, it would have been kind of hard. I hated that scene because of how
they did it. I mean come on. TBag has just had the crap beaten out of him,
punched in the stomach, choked, and is still talking up a storm. Yet
through all that he's managed to hide a razor blade in his mouth? Oh, yeah,
that would work.

Yeah the razor blade in the mouth sure stretched all credibility. It
could have just as easily been hidden in his shoe or in the lining of
his clothes, and they would have been more believable.

Goes to show, like Lost, anyone can die on this show. No actor is safe.

I'd have even accepted him taking the shiv from Abruzzi. This show has
always stretched credibility but it's been exciting enough (like 24) that
I've been able to overlook things like Michael getting toes cut off then
being up and around within days as if nothing happened. :) The razor
blade in the mouth just went too far for me.

I wasn't even sure if he was dead or not. Will be interesting to see how
they get passed needing Abruzzi for his plane now.

Still it left me with a feeling like....this show had 12 episodes
planned...for me it was both Scofield and Abruzzi that made this show
great...so the show gets picked up for a full season so they kill off one of
the two best guys on the show just to stretch it out a bit.....

Thats like working for a construction company, landing a billion dollar
contract and getting fired as your reward.....

I'll believe Abruzzi's really dead when I see it.

That's what I was thinking. It's not like people haven't survived worse.
