Which season(s)/episodes did he appear?

I'm not sure of the season. It was quite a while ago. But I'm sure someone
on here knows. Anyway, he appeared in several episodes as her boyfriend.
Only one I remember off the top of my head though is the one where he
actually died. I think he drove home drunk, or he was killed by a drunk
driver. Either way, it was an episode focused around drunk driving. It was
a really emotional episode, with Mike (Carol's brother) answering the
phone call that told the family that Sandy was dead...and Carol thinking
Mike was just playing a sick joke at first. Really sad episode. But
powerful.
In addition:
Both Matts were on a Fox show about eight years ago which started out as
"My Life Again" or some-such, in which Matt P's older self had come back
from the future to influence his younger self; the format was later changed,
as was the title, so that it was just about Matt P's character and his life.
("Just the Boys"?)
Matt LeBlanc played a dumb boxer (named "Joey", natch) on "Married With
Children" who was dating Kelly (Christina Applegate). This show was later
spun off (don't remember the title) and lasted about five episodes.
Matt Perry also guested on an episode of "Empty Nest," where he played the
19-yo version of one of Dr. Weston's patients, going off to college.
Jennifer Aniston guested on an episode of "Quantum Leap" where Sam (Scott
Bakula) played a veteran whose legs were blown off in the 'Nam. She was
a volunteer at the VA hospital.
And finally, Courteney Cox played on the short-lived NBC sci-fi series,
"The Misfits of Science," about a group of super-powered individuals working
as a government team (comic fans, read: mutants); she had telekinesis.
(I didn't bother mentioning LK's roles from Mad About You, as I'm sure every1
here is aware of that link; I couldn't find/remember anything that DS had
done prior to 'Friends'.)
I'm sure there are others, and as I said, my info is incomplete/corrupt. :)
Please feel free to add to this...

He was also on a funny episode of Just the Ten of Us (a spinoff of Growing
Pains) He was playing a boyfriend of one of the daughters, and had to pass
this grueling test to see if he was worthy to take the daughter out. I
remember one of them was, the dad came out with a plate of chicken, goes
"which do you prefer, legs or breasts" and he said "I'll take a wing" and
the dad was like "damn"... I guess you have to watch it, not as funny just
describing it ;^)

Oh, I saw that one, but I don't remember seeing her! Crap. As for her
other stuff, take this excerpt from a bio' of her:
In 1989 she landed her first television role, as a series regular on
"Molloy." Her other TV credits include regular roles on "The Edge" and
"Ferris Bueller," a recurring part on "Herman's Head" and guest-starring
roles on such series as "Quantum Leap" and "Burke's Law."
I regularly watched all but _Molloy_ and _Burke's Law_, and she was
always awesome. That's why I was so glad to see _Friends_ become a hit;
she finally "made it."

It was Season four (88-89). He was introduce in episode 'In Carol we trust'
(not sure about this), ep. 81 (4.11) and died in 'Second Chance', ep. 90
(4.20). He had also some appearences beetween these two.
Episode 'Second Chance':
After an evening with Carol, where both of them drunk, he drove her home,
and after he left her he had a car accident. On the next day Carol got a
phone-call from the hospital. After the visit, where it seems that he will
recover, back home Mike had to tell her that Sandy died.

Schwimmer was on the Wonder Years about five times, as Karen's husband
Michael. He looked pretty funny in an all white suit from circa 1971.

I just found this newsgroup so I don't know what's been listed so far,
but here's what I've seen:
Both Matts were on "Just the Ten of Us".David Schwimmer has been on
"Wonder Years" and "Blossom". I think I saw Courtney Cox on a
commercial for "Dream On", but I'm not sure. I know there are others,
but these are what I've seen personally.

I remember that episode of Growing Pains. Actually, Carol had just been to
visit Sandy in the hospital after the accident and he seemed fine. He died
suddenly after she left; a brain hemmorage (sp) or burst blood clot or
something. That's why when Mike told her the news after the phone call she
was so shocked. Yes, it was a very emotional episode - very sad.

Right, there's nothing to be ashamed of.

>is aware of?
Probably not, which is a shame, really. But of course, we can create a group in the
alt-hierarchy (e.g. alt.tv.growing-pains). What do you think? Personally, I fear that it
would be "overkill". If there was sufficient interest for a Growing Pains-newsgroup,
one thinks it would exist already, especially since the show started in 1985.
Another option is to set up a (manually run) mailing list. I'd be happy to act as list
administrator.
In the meantime, rec.arts.tv is probably the best place to discuss this great show.

Yeah, I think his character was called Jeffrey. That was when she still was

Brad Pitt has also appeared as obnoxious rock star Jonathan Keith.

Any other outcome wouldn't have made sense. However, in the last season

deserved better.

The spinoff was "Top of the Heap", he played Vinnie Verducci. He was also on

though. He was really stupid (as described above) I remember on the one that

Yes, the first version of that show was called Second Chance, and involved the
reincarnation-type theme. He didn't play his younger self from the future,
rather he played (I hope I am remembering this right) an adult guy who
died, but gets a second chance to live again, and is sent back as himself
at a younger age. I will never forget the guy who played Saint Peter in
that show...the characters were called Chaz and Booch.
You're right, Matt played Chaz, and the guy who played Booch went on to
hmm yeah, he went on to do some episodes of Who's the Boss- I think he was
one of Samantha's dates (leather-jacket type)who ended up interested
in/good at being a hair-stylist.( Matt who also did an ep or two of
that) Later on, Second Chance was renamed "Boys Will Be Boys" in an
attempt to boost the show's popularity. All plot involving reincarnation-
type stuff was dropped. I remember all of this because at the time the
show was on, I was 13 years old and it was my very favorite show, and
I worshipped Matt :) It was even more memorable because while the show
was on, my cousin and I actually met Matthew Perry (He was 18 or so
around then) at a bridal shower. I remember being so excited because he
was the first "famous" person I had ever met, though at the time my
cousin and I were probably the only ones who knew who he was by name.
I have a picture of myself taken with him at the party, and another
picture of Matt Perry that he had sent to me that says "Hi Emily, hope
to meet you soon! -'Chaz'" and then his signature. I thought it was all
so cool, and I've followed his career ever since.
Like I've seen mentioned before, Matthew Perry was also on (in guest
star capacity) Growing Pains, Who's the Boss, Beverly Hills 90210,
Just the 10 of Us, The John LAroquette Show, etc. He also had a part in
Valerie Bertinelli's short-lived show "Sydney" in which he played her
brother, the cop.He was very funny in that! I have some magazine
clippings of interviews with him when he had first got the part in Sydney.
Some of his movie credits include "She's Out of Control" with Tony
Danza and "A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon" with River Phoenix.
At any rate, I am glad Matt's career seems to be doing so well.
He's put in a lot of hard work and I'm glad to see it finally pay off :)
: ER doctor George Clooney was on "The Facts of Life"
He was also on a show called E/R (not sure if he was a regular or just a
guest once) It was a half-hour sitcom in a hospital and had Elliot Guild
as the main character. I think the show was on in the mid-80's, and was short
lived, as I remember.

And Lisa is not, alas, a particularly good actress. Last week's show
actually contained a joke! An honest-to-goodness punchline, and not
merely one of the pseudo-witty bon mots that pass for humor on Gen-X
shows. She had the line, and it should have gotten a great big laugh, and
she blew it. Maybe it wasn't all her fault, but the moment was hers to
lose...
