Dame Edna's Hollywood

People magazine reports that the Melbourne megastar will be hitting the
U.S. this fall with her own series aptly named "Dame Edna's Hollywood".
It will run on NBC and is supposed to be done in the style of London
Weekends "The Dame Edna Experience". Most Americans have never heard
of Dame Edna and I just wonder if they are ready for her unique and
piercing wit.

This American has heard of Dame Edna. I saw the referenced show while
visiting the UKoGBaNI in late July and early August. I cannot wait. It
will be more popular than the old Mike Douglas and Merv Griffin talk
shows!
