No it isn't. That isn't even the whole chorus, and there are verses as well.

The first verse goes something like this (from memory)

Dogs are always howling,
Cats are always yowling
Gibbons only like to sing and dance
Be just like that monkey
Get a little funky
la la la la can't remember this bit
Gibbon half a chance!

Do, do, do etc. (as above)
Oo! Oo! Oo! The Funky Gibbon
It's just like you, so come on do the Funky Gibbon Noooow

I think the words were reprinted in a recent issue of "Deadpan" magazine,
alongside an article on the Goodies, but I haven't got it with me.

We're the Goodies,
How do you do?
We've just been down to the zoo.
Saw a monkey in a cage doin' a dance that could be the rage.
It's not hard, so let's all do
the Funky Gibbon!
Ooo! Ooo! Ooo!

Chorus
Do do do the Funky Gibbon (Funky Gibbon?)
We are here to show you how. (ooo ooo ooo) <-- gibbon hoots
Ooo Ooo Ooo the Funky Gibbon (Funky gibbon?)
He's just like you,
So, come on, Do
The Funky Gibbon Nowwwww.

Dogs are always howlin',
Cats are always Yowlin',
But Gibbons only like to Sing and Dance. (Boop oop shee boop)
You be like that monkey,
Get a little funky,
And in a while, start to smile,
Gibbon have a chance.

(Chorus)

Now get ready to do the Funky Gibbon!
Drop one arm down by your knees, let the other arm reach up to the trees.
Now let your wrists go limp like a bent babboon
And get ready to sing this Gibbon's tune (ooo ooo ooo, Funky Gibbon)
Now won'tcha gimme an Oooooo (oooooo)
Come on gimme an Oooooo (oooooo)
Give me an Ooooooo (oooooo)
Now put 'em together and what have you got?
ooo ooo ooo ooo ooo ooo <--- gibbon hoots
(Bill Oddie at Amnesty International Show - "You don't 'alf look silly.")

(Chorus)

ooo ooo ooo Funky Gibbon
ooo ooo ooo Funky Gibbon
ooo ooo ooo Funky Gibbon
He promised to buy me a bunch of blue Gibbons to tie up my bonnie brown...
(alt: Tie a yellow Gibbon 'round the old oak tree....)
do do do Funky Gibbon
Funky Gibbon?!! Oooo!
(followed by gibbon hoots)

*Gad* I can't believe I can remember it after all these years. *Sheesh*

I'd just like to say that I do infact possess the single, but there is
no way I'm going to be persuaded to rummage for the record deck in
the loft in order to transcribe the words to this group.

Oooh-ooochy-boo!

(a) somebody already did: this thread is weeks old.
(b) the lyrics were also printed in Deadpan magazine a couple of months ago
