Does anyone remember the lyrics to Barnaby the Bear. I think it
went something like:

Barnaby the bear's my name
Never call me John or James
Tra la la la la la la
Barnaby the Bear ... tra laaa
tra la la tra tra

or something like that.

Cheers, Mike

I think it went:

Barnaby the bear's my name

never call me jack or James
tra la la la la la la la

Barnaby the bear's my name

Birds taught me to sing
When they took me to their king
And I had to fly
In the sky so high, so high, so high, so high, so high
SO,

Barnaby the bear's my name

never call me etc etc
REPEAT AS OFTEN AS YOU CAN STAND.

Oh dear...don't get me started on Barnaby the Bear...I watched this every
week and was nearly over it after years of psychiatric help...Oh what the
hell.

I, like Louise, have had this song going through my head for the last 20
odd years and I know the first verse, I'm not sure about the 'birds taught
me to sing...' stuff though.

Barnaby the Bear's my name
Never call me Jack or James
I will sing my way to fame
Barnaby the Bear's my name.

Do you remember the episode where he saw the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights)?

Never trust an orange bear with a blue circular nose.

Mark.

All the birds taught me to sing
When they took me to their king

Does it ever worry you that you carry this sort of junk around in
your head?

I can't remember that one. The only one I remember is when he got
carried off by some storks to some bird kingdom or soemthing. I think it
was one of those slightly trippy children's programmes that they used to
make in the 60's and 70's that didn't actually make any sense.

Did Barnaby have a mum and dad?
