I'm not sure if this was "do not adjust your television" or something like that.
If it was the same one, it would have been late '602 - early '70s, and had
David Jason in it, I think, And....the Bonzo Bog Do Da Band.
Or was that something else?

That wasn't "Our House" by any chance was it ? Must have been about 1970, 71.
Cant remember much about it, though, other than that it was wierd. Wasn't there
some welsh woman perpetually cutting slices of bread ?

To continue the Welsh theme, 'Our House' was a running sketch
that appeared in each episode of Ryan & Ronnie, a sort of 1970's
Smith & Jones for kids.
The 'mam' of the family would butter a loaf of bread, and cut off
huge slices while still holding it. The daughter was called Ffylys
Doris, and....well that's about all I can rememeber, except that
it was a good laugh.
