ITV Digital has finally collapsed - it is in effective liqudation.

What you need to know:
* IMMEDIATELY cancel your Direct Debit (if you pay by DD)
* All Pay TV channels will cease very shortly
(Sky One, Sky Premier, Sky MovieMax, Sky Sports 1/2/3, UK Gold, UK Horizons,
UK Style, FilmFour, E4,
* The ITC has revoked the licence for Terrestrial Pay TV channels for the
time being
* Free-to-air channels should be available without intteruption for the
forseeable future (BBC 1/2/4. News 24. ITV1/2, Parliament, Choice, C4, C5,
CBeebies, CBBC)
* DON'T send your box back
* ALL customers who paid up front will have lost their money
* Some football clubs will go bust shortly (hooray!)

They might cease, but probably not for 2 or so days.

No it has not.

The licence is automatically revoked because the company has broken their terms
(by going bankrupt).

The BBC web site says: "The industry regulator, the Independent Television Commission (ITC),
meanwhile has warned that it will revoke ITV Digital's licence once the firm stops broadcasting its
pay-TV services. The licence will then be offered for tender.

"ITV Digital subscribers will soon lose paid-for services such as Sky Sports and ITV movie
channels."

Note "will revoke", not "has revoked" (as of 6 pm, anyway!).

So... almost entirely inaccurate then.

Done when I cancelled my subscription.

Well, perhaps with the possible exception of E4 and FilmFour...

Yep.

Bought mine in the first place.

Out of the greed of the Football League, eager for a First Division
breakaway...

Paul.
