Countdown without Susie Dent is like Carol Vorderman with a non-dirty
laugh. There's just no point.

Susie, if you've missed her is sometimes the lexicog...that gal that looks
up the long words...and lemmie tell ya this, she's GORGEOUS. Yeah, yeah,
I know what you're thinking, but SHE IS!

I know I'am not the only one who thinks this, thought I was, but I'am
not, a quick straw poll at work proved that she is surprisingly popular
with the younger (no doubt older too) audience. Well, I only asked three
people, guys, like myself, aged between 21 - 26. Not accountants who wear
glasses either! Night shift factory boyz!

So...any count-downer guys/ladies agree with me? Susie Dent is a gorgeous
young lady, who, has no engagement ring on, has intelligence beyond
comparison and well is just lovely. (She IS!).

Anyone know her Email address? Home address? Phone number?? :>
Take it easy everyone.
Giles.

Utterly pointless follow up no. 4534324: my house-mate's friend applied
for the job of dictionary girl on Countdown (she works for the Oxford
University Press). She didn't get it.

She may not have been the first Dictionary Corner Expert, but definately
was the best.

So what's wrong with bespectacled accountants liking Suzie too!?

I'll be honest, I've never sat that close to the TV screen.

Yeah, that Carol's real stoopid in comparison.

I guess you like her, huh?

If she ever posts it, then her IQ would have to have shrunk 50 points.

> Home address?

Yeah, right. 100 points, and a destiny with a stalker.

> Phone number?? :>

Ah, well I could help you here, but, you know, she really doesn't want
too many of you lot to know. 8)

Good advice there...

I don't know, Catherine Clarke - the raven-haired temptress of Dictionary
Corner - will always be fondly remembered here.

Neddie.

definately.

Hmmm... will the real Suzy/Suzie Dent please stand up...

Ah well, we can but sigh, and think happy thoughts.

Ciao
