No. He is a Martian.

The genius of you Americans is that you never
make clear-cut stupid moves, only complicated
stupid moves which make us wonder at the possi-
bility that there may be something to them which
we are missing.

We're about to find out. TVQuick reckon he's leaving on 21 November
(something to do with Roy and Pat's wedding?)

it will almost certainly be full of self-righteous
polemic and double standards.
Ooops, nearly forgot. It will also be patronising.

I would have thought, even as another gay man, that it would be quite a
giggle to play David Wicks. Perhaps the pressure of the job is getting
to him. I think he'll do a runner when Grant and Phil find out where
Cindy is.

He is a homosexual, the actress who plays Pat Wicks is a lesbian as well,
what that has to do with the programme escapes me.

He's a bit of a thespian, isn't he? From what I've heard, anyway.

Quite, I never could see why homosexuals called themselves "gay".
Never seemed like something to be gay about.

I will start up and antipodean branch.

No seriously... we heard a rumour that he was having a genuine off-screen
affair with Carol - so we're bitterly disappointed to hear that this is
unlikely. To think the delicous frisson of privileged insider knowledge
during the steamy David/Carol romance episodes was completely spurious.
Was there a thread about this...?

Well i heard that he was living with paul Nicholls...and was going out
with him. If you watch Eastenders really carefully when them two are
together...well...they're very together...practically kissing in some
scenes!
Somehow i don't think he'd be having an affair with carol!
