Let's just say every country has their share of "ugly" countrymen who
travel abroad and tarnish the reputation of their native land....I am
very happy my friends overseas do not judge me based upon what we export
--just as I do not assume all "East-end" women wear too much makeup and
clothes too small for them a la Kat Slater and the men are sniveling
wimps like Ian Beale... nor do the English walk around saying things
like tut-tut and cheerio...

Does anyone remember Danger Mouse? That cartoon always portrayed
americans as Texans. Always thought that was amusing!
