Art & Design (admission requirements) - GSCE 1999

Q1. In order to gain admission to an Arts & Design Degree Course at
Manchester University, what is required:

(a) in terms of GSCE passes?
(b) in terms of A-Level passes?
(c) in terms of experience?

Q2. What qualifications does Bianca Jackson possess:

(a) in terms of GSCE passes?
(b) in tems of A-level passes?
(c) in terms of experience?

Q3. How likely is it having regard to the answers to Q1 and Q2 that
Bianca Jackson will be offered a place at Mancehster university on an
Arts & Design course?

Time allowed: 10 minutes

Marks possible: 100

Bianca is a mature student which means technically she might be able to get on
a degree course without qualifications. They allow it at my uni.

I believe that she would have to do a one year Art Foundation Course
first. For which you usually need Art A level and a portfolio or a bloody
good portfolio.

If it was my choice it wouldn't matter how good her portfolio
aaaaaaaaaargh I hate that word it strikes fear into my heart! sorry) she
still exceedingly annoying, anyway why would she want to go to manchester
uni!? heehee sorry don't mean it really jusst I went somewhere else.
