Anyone remember Doug Allen who played Nathan Williams in Eastenders up until
about a year ago who was Roy's son who came along when his mum died and ran
the car lot for a while - almost managed to steal Natalie away from Barry
and so on.
Well there is an advert for Goodfella's Pizza on at the moment - about how
their pizzas taste so good etc that nobody will bother going for a
restaurant pizza anymore - Well the 'italian' guy being interviewed I am
certain is the guy who played Nathan - but then my friend thinks its totally
not - like different hairline, bone structure etc..
I have scanned the net for an hour for any up to date references of Doug
Allen but the best I can think of is somehow tracing his agent and asking
him direct!!
For anyone wanting a reminder - heres the best pic i can find of doug -

Any comments would be greatly appreciated........!!!
cheers

I agree with your friend. It don't look nothing like Nathan.
Too fat, and not enough grey hair.
Unless - he's gained 3 stones, and and started using Grecian 2000.
It's possible, I suppose. I'll have a closer look next time, and report
back. Can't say fairer than that, eh??
Heh. I agree with your friend. They look absolutely nothing alike
whatsoever.
Are you sure you were watching Eastenders and not some dodgy satellite
channel? ;)

Because 'points' and quotes are for sissies and big girls blouses.
Indeed. Our good friend www.imdb.com informs us that Doug Allen has been
making a movie called "What Larry Says" recently, but that has been the only
thing he has done since Eastenders. Personally, looking at the ad, they
look very dissimilar and I seriously doubt they are the same person, but if
you did want to contact the makers of the ad I would direct you to:
http://www.leith.co.uk/SSD-LEITH-goodfellas.html
This is the website of The Leith Agency who are responsible for the advert,
and the website does have a contact at the bottom.
Ross.
