Did anybody else spot that the comedian in this Wednesdays episode was
Ted Robbins (At the hen party pub crawl). Ted Robbins as you may know
is Paul Mc Cartney's Cousin. You may not know that for the last few
years, Ted Robbins has been a warm up for audiences at Granada so he
was typecast again. He also did a couple of series of a quiz for BSB
when Robert Maxwell still owned it.

Dull Fact - Ted Robbin's Sister Kate was in Crossroads and had a
couple of hit singles in the pop charts.

I thought "Born With A Smile On My Face" was something to do with Rain

Stephanie de Sykes had a hit with in BWASOMF in the mid-70's. I'm old enough to
remember it, as well, apart from having it on a CD! :o)
.
The only rain I know is the stuff that falls from the sky, and a Beatles
B-Side!

Talking of the Beatles, didn't Paul McCartney's brother (James's cousin of
course) sing Lily The Pink?

yes ... if my decrepit brain is still semi-functioning, he used the name
"Mike McGear" and the band he was with used the name "Scaffold" ... they
had a couple of hits ... i also seem to remember they had one of what
were called the Liverpool Poets - Roger McGough, perhaps? anyone
remember?

Is there any topic that you don't feel qualified to talk about? You
might not realize this this, but you come off as a smug know-it-all.
When you move from CS related trivia to general trivia you should lose
that "and this is the final word" attitude. It really makes you look
like an intellectual bully. Have a nice day.
