Given the suddenness of his departure, and the fact that he is betraying
two women at the same time (and they may find out about each other),
my DEEP hope is that Jed is murdered.
1) Nikki, alone and in trouble, turns to the bottle. She is alone completely
again, so lotsa despair. She ends up pregnant, but loses the baby
due to her alcohol consumption. Many more tears--especially when Hope
has a trouble free preganancy. Unfortunately, Victor descends into a
torrid affair with MariJo, and Hope is also abandoned (though still
married) through her pregnancy. In a rare act of selflessness, Nikki
acts as her birth coach--and the birth of the baby contributes to her
healing. Unfortunately, she begins to develop an obsessive attachment
to Hope (and Victor's) baby....
2) Jill emerges as the prime suspect in Jed's murder. Her murder trial
causes her divorce trial to take a back seat. When she is convicted of
murder, John is granted an automatic divorce and custody of the child.
3) Eventually, it is revealed that Blade is actually Blade's evil
twin. Somehow, his friend Jed found out about this--and Blade-twin had
to kill him. When this all finally comes out, Jill is released from
prison--but her life is in a shambles--no job, no lover, no child.
Kay offers her a job as a beautician...
4) Ashley (after Blade-twin is revealed and killed) is devastated. She
either turns to Blade (who turns out to be alive, and shows up in G.C.),
or to Brad--putting her claw-to-claw with Lauren Fenmore and her sister
Traci.
Let the games begin,
Michael

>Fearless predictions:
[Some outrageous but great stuff deleted]
you know, the frightening thing about your predictions
are as far fetched as they sound...I wouldnt put it past
the writers to do something very similar if not exactly
the same.
Have you ever thought of going into Soap writing?
You only forgot one thing: Jed is going to die of something
really wierd and mysterious and of course there will be no
one who actually SAW him die. That ensures that he can come
back a few months or so down the road in a different actors
body claiming he's changed his wicked ways but really he's
after revenge. In fact, Ive got it...he'll come back and
seduce Hopes baby who by that time should be at least in her
mid twenties. Theyll have a secret torrid affair, she'll wind
up pregnant, and then she'll either find out about his mysterious
past and who he really is, or she'll discover he's having an
affair with Victoria who is incredibly vulnerable etc because
she found out her husband was a gay porn star and she didnt know it.
(sorry I couldnt resist) Of course she'll lose the baby or wind
up going off the deep end and aborting it or something. THEN
she'll find out that Hope and Jed secretly had an affair years
ago and Jed might be her father but it will be weeks before the
bloodtests come back and confirm the truth..which is.......
Any takers from here? We could come up with something pretty
interesting here. Who knows, if its relatively good maybe
we could send it into the Bells and show them we can write
as 'well' as they can.

"I dont need a rubber room, but that might be nice.
Im not a manic depressant, paranoid schitzophrenic so I
dont need your advice, cause Im just crazy just like you."
Jed will simply fall through the cracks like Michael and Chase. We'll
see Jill calling him to tell him that they will have to cool it; her
son means more to her than her sex life. Then Nicki will be
concentrating so much on meddling in Victor's and Hope's lives that
she'll simply forget about Jed, the handyman turned architect. Death
to Jed? That would close a door the Bells may want to re-open
sometime in the future.
Being the eternal pessimist today and not having much faith in the
writers abilities...
