I also maintain a list of address to which I mail updates as I get them done.
If you would like to be added to that list, just ask.
I will probably post this again some time after the first of the year, but not
until then. A new update should be available in about 3 months.
Now to get back to work on the Brady segment!

Tom Horton, aka "Norm de Plume," and Alice Horton: Prior to their marriage,
Alice dated Simon Hopkins, who later became a doctor working for Nazi Germany.
Tom and Alice got married in 1938. Tom is the Chief of Staff at University
Medical Center in Salem, Ohio, located on a tributary of the Ohio River.
Alice is head of the volunteers at the hospital, and makes the best doughnuts
in Salem (and maybe the whole world B-). They are the parents of 5 children:

Thomas "Tommy" Horton (Jr.?): The son of Tom and Alice Horton, named
for his father, he is Addie's twin brother. He married Katherine
"Kitty" Horton (maiden name?), a woman who never felt accepted by the
Horton clan. As a doctor, he was drafted into service for the Korean
War, and so was not there when his daughter was born:
Sandy Horton (full name "Alexandra?" "Cassandra?"): A doctor.

Tommy was listed as missing-in-action, and presumed dead. He was
eventually brought back to the states, but with no memory and severe
facial damage due to torture. While recuperating in a veteran's
hospital in San Diego, Bill Horton, not knowing that he was his
brother Tommy, befriended him. After having plastic surgery performed
on him, Bill brought Tommy back to Salem, here he became known as (?).
He had begun to fall in love with Marie Horton when he regained his
memory, sending Marie into a shock which eventually led to her join a
convent. Sometime afterwards, Kitty was in a big argument with Bill,
which led to her death because of a heart condition, which Bill knew
about, and Bill was sent to prison on manslaughter charges as a
	result. [End of knowledge train.]
"Addie" Horton Olsen Williams (full name "Adelaide?"): The daughter
of Tom and Alice Horton, and Tommy's twin sister. She originally
married Ben Olsen, and had two children:

Julie Olsen Banning Williams: The daughter of Ben and Addie
Olsen. She was good friends with Susan Hunter, and served as
her maid-of-honor at her wedding to David Martin. Sometime
after, she had an affair with David shortly before his death
at Susan's hands. This gave rise to:

David "Brad" Banning: The son of Julie Williams (Olsen
at the time) and David Martin, and the adopted son of
Scott and Janet Banning, named after his father.
Julie gave him up for adoption as an infant on the
advice of her great-aunt Martha, and he was adopted by
Scott and Janet Hunter, who named him Brad. Susan
Martin, who had moved nearby, became his babysitter.
After Janet died of a brain tumor, Julie began to fear
that Scott would marry Susan, so she married him
instead. She later intended to divorce him in order
to get custody of Brad, but Scott died in a
construction accident before she could tell him.
After the accident, Julie renamed Brad to David.
David, being the same age as Mike Horton, was a long
time rival. He had a black girlfriend named Valerie
Grant for a while, but met Mike's then-current
girlfriend, Trish Clayton, during a brief split for
both couples. A one night stand between them brought
			on:
Scott "Scotty" Banning: The son of David and
Trish Banning, named after David's adoptive
father. His current reputation is that of an
unreliable black sheep of the family, and the
writers have compressed his and his father's
pasts together, making him Mike's rival
instead of David. In recent years, he was in
England as the protege of Colin Lawson, a big
name record producer, until he slept with
Colin's wife, Brooke, in order to get some
papers linking Colin to a disk jockey payola
scam. This has caused Scott some degree of
unhappiness, to the point that he did not
appreciate the royalty checks he received from
a gold record he produced. After acquiring
the rights to the land where Wings sits from
Julie, he returned to Salem. He forced a
partnership on Nick Corelli, and took on the
job of being Eve Donovan's manager. In the
mean time, he also became attracted to Faith
Taylor, and helped her to realize her
potential as a singer. Unfortunately, this
brought back the attentions of Colin, via one
of his friends, Roz Fielder, who was trying to
get the papers back from Scott. After Faith
stole some of them and returned them to Colin,
he and Scott settled their differences and
parted company amicably. When Faith decided
to get out of the music business, and with Eve
having left him, Scott managed to convince
Emilio Ramirez to pursue a singing career.
Scott became attracted to Faith. When a large
tornado storm system swept into the Salem
area, Scott and Faith volunteered to help
sandbag near the lake. Faith nearly drowned,
but Scott saved her life, and helped her to
recover from the resultant paralysis. Soon
afterwards, they moved together to California,
to better pursue careers in entertainment.
After Trish's pregnancy was discovered, she and David
were married, and the two and their son eventually
left for Europe. [Note: in order to compress time for
the soap, and not make it so outlandish for Scott to
be the great-great-grandson of Tom and Alice, much of
David's history has been re-written to be Scott's,
making him Mike's long time rival. No mention has
			been made of Trish recently.]
Julie gave up the baby for adoption on the advice of her
great-aunt Martha. When she found out that Susan was living
next door to the baby's adoptive father, and that the baby's
adoptive mother had died, she feared that Susan might move in
and take over the last thing Julie had of David. To this end,
she moved in instead and married Scott Banning, intending to
divorce him and get custody of the baby at a later date.
Unfortunately, Scott died before she could tell him. She
then renamed the baby David. Julie hired Doug Williams to spy
on her mother, but Doug fell in love with both Julie and
Addie. He eventually married Addie. At about this time, by
sheer chance, Julie happened to run into Marty Hansen,
actually her amnesiac uncle Mickey, and thereby helped to
bring about his recovery and return to Salem. After Addie
died, Doug and Julie planned to get married, but Doug's
ex-wife Kim Douglas interrupted that. During this struggle,
Julie became engaged to her lawyer, Don Craig. This
engagement was on again, off again several times, and she
ended up marrying Bob Anderson at one point, although she
never did marry Don. Julie and Doug's marriage did
eventually come off, and Julie raised her half-sister Hope
Williams as her own daughter. When Hope was old enough, Doug
and Julie left for an extended trip in Europe, leaving Hope
with Tom and Alice. They had a falling out which led to a
divorce. While Doug returned to Salem, Julie remained in
Europe, and built up Portafino Enterprises, and made Scott
the manager of the land on which Wings sits, land that she
either inherited from Addie or got from Doug in the divorce.
Julie returned to Salem when Portafino Industries became
entangled in an incident involving Victor Kiriakis. She gave
control of Portafino Enterprises over to Victor, but not
without ulterior motives. Julie and Victor became sparring
partners. Julie was invited along on the maiden cruise of the
Loretta by Ernesto Toscano, and was shipwrecked with Ernesto's
		other victims.
Steve Olsen: The son of Ben and Addie Olsen. Evidently a
rather slimy character. He left and went to Europe or
		something.
Julie hired ex-con Doug Williams to spy on Addie, but he fell in love
with her and the were married. As a gift, Addie bought a nightclub
for Doug, renaming it Doug's Place. They had daughter:

Hope Wiliams Welsh Brady: The daughter of Doug and Addie
Williams, the adoptive daughter of Julie Williams. She was
raised by her half-sister Julie after Addie's death while Hope
was still an infant. Hope was always a rebellious sort.
During her high school days, she was nearly killed by Megan
Hathaway, the daughter of Stefano DiMera. She became very
attached to Bo Brady, and a tryst between them on the night
of her 18th birthday was interrupted by Doug, precipitating
his heart attack. She became involved with several of Bo's
adventures, one of which found her ending up marrying corrupt
lawyer Larry Welsh. However, she did not consumate the
marriage, telling him that she was pregnant with Bo's child.
With Alice Horton's help, Bo eventually rescued her, and the
marriage was annulled. Shortly thereafter, while in New
Orleans searching for the Prisms, she and Bo first "celebrated
their love" at Oak Alley Plantation Soon afterwards, Bo's
brother Roman Brady apparently died at the hands of Stefano,
and Bo and Hope found the body, but left it to pursue
Stefano, who got away. They were eventually married (May 23,
1985) in a ceremony in England, although it was nearly ruined
by an assassination attempt by Emma Donovan, who was under the
control of the Dragon. Returning to Salem, Hope became a
police officer in response to Bo's detective practice. Her
partner, Norma Kirkland, was killed by corrupt policeman
James McBride. Trying to catch corrupt Police Chief Richard
Cates, Bo and Hope's car was forced off a cliff, and Hope was
presumed dead. In reality, she had been saved by a monk,
Brother Francis (last name?), and was nursed back to health.
After returning to Salem, she became Bo's partner in the
detective agency of Brady and Brady, in which enterprise they
there were aided by Howie Hoffstedder. Bo eventually
discovered that his true father was Victor Kiriakis, and
insisted on moving into the Kirikais mansion. This caused a
lot of stress for Hope, bringing on one miscarriage, and she
eventually moved out, threatening legal separation. Her main
source of support through this was her friendship with Steve
Johnson. Victor, concerned by the pain the separation was
causing Bo, forged some papers to indicate that he had been
infertile at the time of Bo's conception, and therefore was
not Bo's father. Bo and Hope were reunited, and she soon gave
		birth to:
Shawn Douglas Brady: The son of Bo and Hope Brady,
named after his two grandfathers -- see listing under
			Bo Brady.
Soon afterwards, Bo and Hope took the baby and left on a
tour of the world in their boat, the "Fancy Face." During a
crisis involving Stefano DiMera, several contacts were
attempted, but only a forged one from Stefano was made. Bo was
kidnapped by Ernesto Toscano, and Hope returned to Salem. Bo
was supposedly replaced by Johnny Corelli (with plastic
surgery), but Hope belived it really was Bo all along. She
stowed away aboard the Loretta, and was shipwrecked along with
		Ernesto's other victims.
Addie had cancer, and died in a car accident shortly after giving
	birth to Hope.

William "Bill" Horton: The son of Tom and Alice Horton. He is a
surgeon. An accident caused nerve damage in his hand, and he left
Salem, breaking off his engagement to Laura Spencer. He became a
volunteer advisory doctor at a veterans' hospital in San Diego, where
he met (?), who was actually his amnesiac brother Tommy. His hand
eventually recovered, and he returned to Salem, bringing Tommy with
him. Finding himself still in love with Laura, even though she had
married his brother Mickey, he raped her. A son came of this:
Michael "Mike" Horton: The son of Bill Horton and Laura
Horton, named for the man who was considered to be his father
(Mickey Horton). He was raised as Mickey Horton's son,
because he was conceived at the time that Laura was married to
Mickey, and was therefore believed to be Mickey's son,
although Mickey was sterile. When Mike found out the truth,
he ran out into the street and was nearly killed by a car. As
a teenager, he was often at odds with his cousin David Banning
(which has been rewritten to be Scott), to the point that
often tried to date the same girls, one of whom was Kayla
Brady -- he even carved their initials on a tree on an island
in the lake. He also worked at a gas station for a time.
Mike was a good friend of Trish Clayton's, and they were
romantically involved for a time, but during a brief split up,
she met David and they were eventually married. Mike decided
to go on to college, with plans to be a lawyer like Mickey,
partially out of spite for Bill. There he met Diana Colvill,
a reporter for the school paper, and they became close
friends. Diana helped Mike to realize his true career
objectives, and he became a doctor. He married Margo
Anderman, but she died of lukemia, whichcaused Mike to settle
on cancer research as a specialty. After her death, Mike left
town for a while, but came back after a year or two. When Ian
Griffith was running around the hospital, raping nurses and
volunteers in his obsession with Melissa Anderson, the blame
centered on Mike for a brief time, but he was cleared. Later
that year, the hospital board was to choose a new Chief of
Surgery, and Mike thought it might be him, but it turned out
to be Robin Jacobs, which brought a certain animosity between
them. After being trapped for several days in a mine cave in
with Robin, Mike became involved with her. He also suffered
nerve damage to his hand in the accident, much the same as
Bill had years before, but it healed after a few months. They
eventually became engaged, and he nearly converted to Judaism
for her, but the wedding was called off, perhaps in part due
to stress caused by the Disk affair, and she married someone
else. Nonetheless, a child came of brief fling they had while
trapped on an island during a thunderstorm:
Jeremy Jacobs Horton: The son of Mike Horton and
Robin Jacobs -- see entry under Robin Jacobs.
Mike was rather irritated when Bill came back to town, while
Laura remained in an insane asylum in Chicago. When his
adopted sister Janice Horton returned to town, he vied with
Bill for her, but both were cut off when she was killed by
the Riverfront Knifer (Harper Devereaux). Mike soon fell for
April Ramirez, and they were briefly engaged, but she called
it off when Robin revealed Jeremy's existence. Although she
then married Nick Corelli, Mike harbored a not-so-secret love
for her and tried to convince her to leave him, which she
would not do until Nick was cured of a brain tumor. Mike and
April eventually convinced Nick to have the required surgery,
and after he recovered, Nick had the marriage annulled for
her. Mike and April then got back together, and resumed their
engagement. They celebrated a private wedding on an island in
the Carribean, planning to formalize it at a later date with
family and friends. Mike nearly left for an emergency job in
a disaster-torn province of China, but ended up going on an
extended tour of Israel with Robin and Jeremy. He asked April
to join him there later, but she refused.
Bill became involved in an argument with his sister-in-law Kitty, and
brought on a heart attack which killed her. Since he had known of her
heart condition, he was convicted of manslaughter, and sent to prison.
He eventually returned with a new friend, an ex-con named Doug
Williams, who later married both Addie and Julie. After Laura and
Mickey's divorce, he married Laura, and they had a daughter:
Jennifer Rose Horton: The daughter of Bill and Laura Horton.
Jennifer spent the majority of her childhood in Europe and
elsewhere with her parents. After Laura was placed in an
insane asylum and Bill divorced her, Jennifer ran away from
home. She showed up in Salem as a runaway, and her best
friend Nancy (last name?) soon died of lukemia, which brought
her and Mike closer. She was trouble at school, but ironed
out most of her problems and began to date Glen Gallagher,
the captain of the football team. As a volunteer at the
hospital, she was working at the Brookville clinic when a
tornado caused the roof to cave in on her. Frankie Brady
gave her mouth-to-mouth while she was trapped, and saved her
life. She and Glen later broke up, and she started dating
Frankie. They both went to Salem University, but broke up
after his affair with Paula Carson, and he then left to go to
Columbia University on an art scholarship. She joined a
sorority, and began work as an intern reporter for the Salem
Spectator under Diana Colville, and was rehired by Jack
Devereaux after Diana left. She became involved in a
triangle with Emilio Ramirez and Jack. She was briefly the
		foster mother of:
Hannah Wales: The daughter of Sally Wales, and the
foster daughter of Jennifer Horton -- see entry under
			Sally Wales.
The baby was taken from her when Sally Wales got back together
with her parents (names?). Jennifer lives in the loft. She
shared it for a time with Emilio, and then with Jack, while he
recuperated from a Stingray attack. She has wavered back and
forth for some time on her attraction for both men, but seems
to be concentrating on Jack for the moment, although this
causes problems because of Jack's past. She breifly shared
the loft with Isabella Toscano. With her cousin Melissa
Anderson's return to Salem, she had to reevaluate her
relationship with Jack. She was recently given an award for
journalism based on a nomination from Jack -- the story that
won it was probably the one resulting from her temporary
fostering of Hannah. With Jack unwilling to make an emotional
stand, Jennifer found herself forced into an engagement with
Emilio Ramirez. On the eve of their wedding, Jack kidnapped
her. When she returned to Salem, they decided to delay the
wedding for a while. Jennifer discovered that Jack had the
missing pages of Loretta Toscano's diary, and the two were
invited on the maiden cruise of the Loretta by Ernesto Toscano.
They were shipwrecked along with Ernesto's other victims, but
Jennifer was injured. Jack nursed her back to health, and they
confessed their love for one another. There is some as yet
unrevealed connection between Jennifer and Carly Manning.
Laura went insane, and is now in a mental institution in Chicago.
Bill divorced her, and later returned to Salem as Chief of Surgery
after Robin Jacobs left, and fell in love with Janice. He left again
after she was killed by the Riverfront Knifer (Harper Devereaux).

Marie Horton Curtis: The daughter of Tom and Alice Horton. She
briefly fell in love with the amnesiac patient who turned out to be
her brother, Tommy. After a brief bout of insanity, she decided to
become a nun. On her way to the convent, she had an affair with Alex
	Marshall, and gave birth to:
Jessica Horton Fallon, aka "Sister Angelique," aka "Angel":
The daughter of Alex Marshall and Marie Horton. Upon finding
out that her mother was a nun, Jessica flipped out. After
briefly considering joining a convent herself, she developed a
split personality (Sister Angelique by day, the rather looser
Angel by night). As Angel, she met Jake Kossitchek. She
dated both him and Joshua Fallon, eventually overcoming her
split personality disorder, but Jake turned out to be the
Salem Strangler, and she married Joshua. They soon left town.
Marie later left the convent, and married Neil Curtis. They divorced
when Liz Chandler came back into Neil's life and shot her. For a
while, she appeared to be interested in Howie Hofsteader, but nothing
ever materialized and she then left town.
Michael "Mickey" Horton, aka "Marty Hansen": The son of Tom and Alice
Horton. He was a successful lawyer who had a proclivity for sleeping
around. Mickey teamed up with Laura Spencer, his brother Bill's
ex-fiance, to defend Susan Martin on temporary insanity grounds after
she killed her husband David. They later married. When Mike was born
out of Bill's rape of Laura, which Mickey was not told about, he
thought he was the child's father. However, Mickey was really
sterile, although only Tom and Laura knew the truth. When Mike's
paternity came out, Mickey developed amnesia and fled into the
country, where he was believed dead. He worked as a farm hand for
Maggie Simmons, who was slightly crippled at the time, under the name
of Marty Hansen, and eventually married her. Maggie was (and is) a
recovering alcoholic. His niece Julie eventually found him and set
him onto the road to recovery. When he decided to return to Salem,
his former secretary, Linda Phillips, tried to convince him that her
recently fatherless daughter Melissa was his from an affair from
before his amnesia. This was shown false when Tom revealed that
Mickey was sterile. That same day, Mickey and Maggie adopted:
Janice Horton: The adopted daughter of Mickey and Maggie
Horton. She became a doctor. Returning to Salem, she was
caught in the middle of a battle over her between Mike and
Bill. Before it could be truly resolved, however, she was
killed by Harper Devereaux, the Riverfront Knifer.
They later adopted:
Melissa Anderson Jannings: The daughter of Joe and Linda
Phillips, the adopted daughter Bob Anderson, and the adopted
daughter of Mickey and Maggie Horton. Her natural father died
while she was still an infant, and Linda tried to convince the
amnesiac Mickey that he was the girl's father. This failed,
and Linda married Bob Anderson, who adopted Melissa. When Bob
died, he left Anderson Manufacturing to his daughter from a
previous marriage, Mary Anderson. By this time, Melissa was
living in Mickey's home. When Mary was killed, her will split
Anderson Manufacturing between her husband, Alex Marshall, and
Melissa. Linda tried to get back in Melissa's good graces,
and bought Alex's half, but Melissa then sold her half to
Alex. Linda's relationship with Melissa has improved only
slightly since. Mickey did eventually adopt Melissa. She was
a volunteer at University Hospital, but an intern there, Ian
Griffith, was obsessed with her, and started raping nurses and
volunteers. She fell in love with Pete Jannings while on the
run from Victor Kiriakis. After he divorced Ivy, they got
married (February 14, 1986), but she divorced him after
finding out about his continued involvement with Victor, not
the least of which was laundering money through Jump, the
nightclub that they owned. She did, however, get the condo
out of the deal, and sold Jump to Anna DiMera and Calliope
Bradford. She later fell in love with Lars Englund and became
his dancing partner with Justin Kiriakis' help, but she
injured her knee and had to stop dancing. Next, she went to
work for Jack Devereaux as a secretary/aide, and fell in love
with him, only to be emotionally tortured as he married Kayla
Brady. She was suspected of poisoning Kayla, but was cleared
of all charges when the villain was revealed to be Harper
Devereaux. After Jack and Kayla divorced, she became engaged
to him, but the wedding was called off when she and Marcus
Hunter found out that Jack was just using her in his political
race against Mickey for Harper's vacant spot in the Senate,
not to mention sneaking around with Christina (last name?)
behind her back. She took the honeymoon tickets and left for
Europe. There, she evidently did some professional singing
and built up a following, but did not want such information
known to the majority of her family. She returned to Salem,
and seemed to be interested in Emilio Ramirez, and took it as
her mission in life to keep save her cousin Jennifer from Jack.
Melissa and Emilio teamed up as a singing duo, being managed
by Eve Donovan, and signed with a record label owned by Julie
Williams. The pair became attracted to each other, and made
plans to get involved once Emilio and Jennifer's wedding was
		called off.
Several years later, Maggie decided that she wanted to have a child,
and, since Mickey could not provide her with one, she became a
	surrogate mother for Evan Wyland:
Sarah Horton: The natural child of Neil Curtis and Maggie
Horton, although Evan Wyland is widely believed to be her
father, and the adopted daughter of Mickey Horton. Maggie was
a surrogate mother, and fought for custody with Dr. Wyland.
She won, and Evan was later killed in a car accident. Mickey
adopted the girl. Sarah grew up (quite suddenly!), and
developed a crush on Emilio Ramirez. When she became
concerned about sex and related issue, she went to see Neil
Curtis, rather than discuss the matter with Mickey.
Maggie decided that she wanted to keep the child, and fought for
custody, evetually winning. Mickey adopted the girl after Evan died.
A few years back, they renewed their wedding vows (February 14, 1986).
Maggie came down with a debilitating nerve disease called mysthenia
gravis, but treatment has helped her to overcome many of the effects.
Mickey eventually became District Attorney, but gave it up to run for
Harper Devereaux's vacant Senate seat. He lost, and decided to return
to his career as a normal lawyer. Mickey's case load grew quite heavy
in the succeeding months, and very nearly missed his own wedding
anniversary while involved in defending Kayla Brady in the Marrina
Toscano murder trial. When a large tornado storm system came into the
Salem area, Maggie was at Wings aiding in disaster relief, when a wall
and ceiling collapsed on her. She was saved by Emilio Ramirez.
Although injured, she survived. When Sarah began seeing Neil Curtis
for gynecological concerns, it strained Mickey's friendship with Neil,
since Sarah didn't come to him first.

Alice was taken hostage by Simon when he returned to Salem and was recognized
as a Nazi war criminal by Robert Le Claire, but Steve Johnson saved her. Tom
became a partner in Calliope's Beat Bar with Calliope Bradford and Ethan
Riley, where he performed under the name Norm de Plume, reading poetry. They
had a brief marital mix-up just before their fiftieth anniversary, thinking
that they might not have been legally married. With all of his children and
grandchildren (and beyond) grown up and/or moved out, Tom applied for and got
the job of being Max Brady's "grandfather." When Scott came back to town, he
stayed with his great-great-grandparents for a couple of weeks while he fixed
up his boat. Faith Taylor also moved into the house in the aftermath of her
father's death. Tom began "feeling his age," and accidentally drank some of a
purported youth potion created by Eugene Bradford. Although the potion had no
effect, he was nonetheless inspired to prove to Alice that he was still young
at heart, and took up tap dancing without telling Alice.
Martha (last name?): The sister of Alice Horton. When Julie was pregnant with
David Martin's child, she briefly stayed with Martha, and it was on her advice
that the baby was put up for adoption.
