Dude!!! What did you all think of the Conher-n-Pal "afterglow" scene???
I really did not think that I was going to like them as a couple, but
the chemistry between these actors is much more convincing than that
between "Pal" and "Lilabird."
The post-sex back and forth was pretty cool too...Nice that Conner said
TO PAL "Well, I hope that you don't think that I was taking advantage of
YOU...." Nice also that the writers had the character wonder "What would
Linc say if he could see us here together like this?"
And was that not SOME makeup job that the ATWT folks had done on Pal??
He looks at least ten years younger than he did when he was in the Lila
thing. Less grizzled too. (This is not to be ageist or anything ;), just
noticing that Pal looks like he had an overnight face lift.)
I'm glad that Conher is being re-foregrounded and rehabilitated as a
character. These developments ALMOST make up for that awful new
intro!!

ditto! i wasn't sure what i would think and i was skeptical, but they
do have quite a bit of chemistry and this relationship has a very
endearing quality to it.

I agree! I was feeling ambivalent about this whole thing while they
were building it up, but I think I really like this pairing. And they
definitely, *definitely* have more chemistry than Dances with Oil Man
and Pal ever had.
Just a few other random thoughts:
If I hadn't been equally doormat-ish and blind myself in the
not-too-distant past, I would be inclined to say that nobody could
possibly be as idiotic as Easily is being about Rolls. Come on!
This woman needs to figure out a few things about her self-esteem
and reasonable relationship expectations!
Today's scenes between Smirk and Ellie were really well-done, I thought.
I was really moved by the acting here.
Now, I wonder which of Yuckdale's single mothers with lots of young
children Smirk will end up being paired off with. Any votes?
I may be in the majority here, but I like GetEven and RoseHand together
much better than I like DuhHutch with her. Guess I'll never be a member
of the DuhHutch fan club.
By the way, has anyone noticed that Gavin-Bloody-Krueger is appearing in
a Drixoral ad now?

I like them A LOT. She is my favorite character on the whole show, and she
deserves a storyline! Hope this doesn't turn out to be a rebound thing for
Cal... Conner needs more than that.

I agree! Roseanna seems much more vibrant around Evan. He needs to explain
why he's been such an idiot, though. I seriously disliked her character when
she was fantasizing about Hutch... Then when she and Evan got together, she
got some spunk. I felt the same way about Courtme and Evan... I STILL like her
with Evan rather than Andy... Where are those two, anyway? Haven't seen them in
a while...

I missed these scenes, but I remember a scene with Sean a few months
ago, where Conner told him that in the future she didn't want to jump
into a sexual relationship right away without getting to know the
person first. (She said that was one of the problems in her relationship
with Scott.) Has she thrown this conviction out the window? Or
does she feel she has sufficiently "gotten to know" Pal, so that
sex is ok now?

He and Ivagottahaveadecentmanforonce should get back together, IMO. Maybe
she can follow him into the men's room this time. Johnnyd and benedict-ion
both have humongous noses and look awful in the morning. But quirky Kirky
is awesome and I had been really bummed when they broke up. I think this is
a chance for redemption.
