Y&R: Update-Wed, March 2

Update - March 2, Wednesday
ASH and BLADE IN BED
Kissing, newlywed talk. They get up. Ashley is getting ready for
work and looks in the closet. Pulls out the painting from Marilyn.
Blade comes out. Ashley says she likes the painting and wonders
who Marilyn is. Blade says he has to go and get ready.
OLIVIA IN THE HOSPITAL
Dru comes in. Olivia is weak and tired--no diagnosis yet. Olivia
asks how things are at home; she's so glad to have Julia there to
help. Dru finally tells her that Julia is sick, but that Dru has
been taking care of everyone. Says Neil is there now. Olivia
asks if Nathan has been around. Dru says no, she thinks he's out
of town on a job.
NATHAN AT A PAYPHONE
He calls the hospital and asks for Olivia. The nurse who answers
says she's not on the roster. When she hangs up another nurse
tells her Olivia is a patient there now.
THE RANCH
Victoria is moping. Miguel suggests she hang out with some friends.
Someone rings the doorbell. It's Ryan. He wants to check on her.
He knows she's having a rough time. Victoria says at least she's
learned she can count on Ryan. Ryan pries, but Victoria doesn't
tell him the deal with Cole. She says there's nothing to tell;
she has no life, no future here.
Victoria says she was a witch to Nina and tells Ryan to apologize
for her.
VICTOR'S PAD
Douglas remembers that Victor's birthday is coming up and tells
Hope. He thinks they should plan something special. Hope wonders
if they could get his family together to celebrate. Douglas
doesn't think it would be very joyous what with all the tension.
BREAKFAST AT THE ABBOTT'S
Jill, Jack and Mamie chit chat about having a full house. John
comes in. They order breakfast from Mamie (dry toast for John
and a veg omelette for Jill). Ashley comes in with the painting.
John props it up so they can all admire it. Ashley explains
how they don't know who sent it. Blade is listening at the door.
John and Jack can't think of any Marilyns they know. Ashley
says she'll hang it in the new house. Jack suggests trying it
out in the foyer. Blade comes in and says no, Jill probably
has plans for the space. Jill says she does.
THE TACK ROOM
Cole's lifting weights and getting sweaty. Nikki comes in with
breakfast. Cole asks her to join him. (Eggs, bacon, waffles
and fresh fruit.) They chat. She feeds him some bacon. He
looks at her and smiles. She notices his computer is out.
He says he doesn't know if he's ready to start on another book
yet. He has an incredible story to tell but he doesn't know
if anyone will believe it. Nikki says his story is too close
still for him to write about. Cole says he can't think about
anything else. Nikki suggests he use his characters to work
through what he's going through. Cole says that makes
sense, but he's not ready. Nikki says she's there for him
if he needs to talk. Cole says she's a close friend.
THE HASTINGS APARTMENT
Dru comes in. Neil is there. Dru says Olivia wondered how Dru
and Lillibelle were getting along. Neil says he wonders aobut
that too. Lillibelle is listening from the doorway. Neil asks
if Lillibelle gets in the way with taking care of little Nate.
Dru says it's nothing she can't handle. Neil suggests hiring
a trained nurse. Dru says no. They talk about Olivia not wanting
Nathan to know she's sick.
Neil leaves. Lillibelle asks Dru why she denies that she hates
to take care of her. Nathan comes in. Lilli goes to her room.
Nathan says he's been out of town and now he wants to see his
son. Dru says he's sleeping. Nathan asks where Julia is.
Dru says she has the flu and that she's filling in for her.
Nathan wonders where Olivia is--what's going on; what does
Dru know about taking care of a baby. He also says he doesn't
want Lillibelle taking care of his son either. He asks
where Olivia is and Dru says she's in the hospital--as a patient.
Says she came down with a bug.
Nathan: And nobody bothered to tell me?
He asks how long she's been there and says he can't believe
the situation--that no one told him, and that Nate is left
in the middle of all the bad blood between Dru and Lillibelle.
He doesn't want Nate around that. Lilli comes out. Nathan
gets the baby and some of his things. Dru tries to talk him
out of taking the baby, says he should just stay at the
apartment. He says he won't come back as long as Lillibelle
is there. Lillibelle begs him not to take the baby. The
baby cries. Lillibelle cries. Dru yells.
Nathan (to Lillibelle): Save it. You're the cause of all
this. This is your fault. You shut your face.
He leaves. Dru runs after, but then comes back and slams the
door.
(Why all the freakout? It's not like Nathan is Robert.
And Lilli is prone to psychosis and Dru is inexperienced.
It all seemed like a way over blown freakout.)
BLADE AT HIS STUDIO
The phone rings. It's Marilyn at a payphone. She asks how he
and his new bride liked the present she sent. He says the
past is the past and tells her to stay away. He hangs up.
She turns away. She's in Gina's or some other restaurant. She
runs into Jack and spills coffee on him. She apologizes. He
asks if she spills coffee on a lot of guys. She says, only
the attractive ones. He smiles and leaves. She asks a waiter
who he was. He says it was Jack Abbot. She says "hmmm..."
And that's all. Not much happened. As usual, eh?
