Hi everyone! Well, here I go again...here's information, per request,
about "Don't-Blink," the Y&R/B&B mailinglist.

This mailinglist was created so that fans of Y&R/B&B could discuss and
disseminate information about their two favorite soaps without the hassel
of sifting through posts about other soaps. This list is devoted
exclusively to the discussion of either/both soaps. This discussion may,
and does, include updates, spoilers, cast changes, gossip about the
actors, commentary on current storylines, and "suggestions for improvement"
(Heaven knows the Bells could use a lot of that!)

There are over 500 people currently included in the mailinglist, and the
volume of mail is relatively high traffic. We average from20 to 30
messages per day (although it can be more if there is a particular topic
of interest, so if you have limited system capabilities or have trouble
managing large amounts of mail, this list is probably not well-suited
for you. However, if you don't mind a lot of great info and gossip, then
please read on!

The list is an open forum. There are no set requirements for what and
how you can post things (i.e. you don't have to add headers and you
decide for yourself what is and is not appropriate to post). Your posts
will be read by 500+ people, so all I ask is that your post be relative
to the topics on hand (namely Y&R/B&B, not other soaps). However, DBLINK
is a friendly list, so please no flame wars!

In order to be added to the list, do the following:

Send e-mail to either dblink-...@umich.edu or ge...@umich.edu
In the subject line type: SUBSCRIBE
In the body of the letter type: SUBSCRIBE your e-mail address

I must add all new Blinkers to the list manually, and since I am busy with
my classes and various research projects, it can take some time to fulfill
all requests. I can usually manage to get you subscribed the same day you
mail your request, but if subscription requests (or my schedule) are
extensive, it may take up to three days. Please be patient.

The only favor that I ask of would-be Blinkers is that you remember the
address under which you subscribed, so that if there comes a time in the
future that you need to be unsubscribed, I can do so without hassel.
Also, I read all subscription requests, so you may include any questions
or comments in your mail. I look forward to seeing you on the list!

Kisses,
Sherri
