CBS: USA/EUN Hockey on Friday, Feb 21

Gotten from rec.arts.tv: Apparently CBS is under the misguided notion that we
care more about a silly old hockey game than our soaps. They are much
mistaken... I don't know how much "regular programming" will be
preempted, but for sure Y&R and B&B are toast, and probably ATWT and GL
also.

ALBERVILLE, France (UPI) -- The Olympic semifinal hockey game between
the United States and the Unified Team will be shown live on CBS-TV on
Friday, beginning at 11 a.m. EST.
A network spokesman said the importance and appeal of the game
prompted CBS to preempt regular programing.
