That is too bad. It was a good show but I had not been watching it latly
because I like Providence.I was going to watch it last week and noticed that it
wasn't on so I was afraid that it had been canceled.

My guess is that Providence is part of the reason that Legacy's ratings aren't
up. I got hooked on Providence, too (after already being a fan of Melina
Kankaredes and Concetta Tomei), since it reminds me a *lot* of early Sisters,
but I hadn't given up on Legacy. But Providence has scored the highest ratings
for an NBC mid-season replacement in awhile (and if I'm not mistaken, it's
second only to ER for the highest rated drama on NBC, but I'm not sure about
that) so it's kinda sad that Legacy had to drop for that.
Legacy's demise also means that a local actress friend is out of a job here:-(.
Not to mention the fact that now I *know* there's no chance of spotting
Grayson McCouch at the mall anymore<g>.

It probably didn't help, although Legacy's ratings were bottom-of-the-barrel
before Providence premiered.

Providence is generally about equal to Law and Order in the ratings, so it
would be close between those two for second highest rated. More importantly,
it's NBC's highest rated new drama since ER, and it helps NBC win Friday
nights for the first time in ages.

There haven't been any new episodes since February Sweeps &
it's been pre-empted most if not all of March, I think.

I don't like PROVIDENCE. And, not just because it came on in
place of TRINITY, which I loved. And, in spite of the fact
that I love Mike Farrell plus Melina & Concetta, although it
reminds me not at all of SISTERS.
But, since I end up watching PROVIDENCE some of the time can
y'all tell me who the actor is that Melina's character has
been romantically involved with? His character name may be
David. I'm going nuts trying to figure out where I've seen
him. PREY? BOSTON COMMON? Grrrrrr! Help! <G>

That's Joe Flanigan. His most recent stint before this was on Dawson's
Creek, but since you mentioned SISTERS in this post, you might know him from
that. He was Georgie's much younger boyfriend on that show during its last

That's IT!!! Ding, ding, ding, give the man a ceegar! He
played Georgie's wonderful boytoy! Thank YOU, so much! Whew,
I feel much better. Well, actually I'm still quite sore from
a root canal earlier in the week, but my mind is no longer
trying to reckon that one little TV problemo. It was driving
me nuts.
I've watched a little bit of DAWSON here & there but didn't
see him there, so it was definitely SISTERS and perhaps
guest shots after that role.
