It should be Josie who is leaving town in shame, NOT Gary. Let Sharlene come
back for a visit and take Josie back to Oklahoma with her! She is just
unbearably obnoxious. I was happy to see Amanda slap her today. What a
self-serving, arrogant witch she has become. If she is so concerned about
Gary's feelings, she should never have lied to him in the first place! She
deserves everything she gets. And to think I actually felt sorry for this
character in the beginning...

Frankly, I think a lot of what Josie said was right on the money. Amanduh
is also no saint and her judgemental attitude stunk (even if it was
understandable). Josie was correct when she told Amanduh that Alli is a
chip off the old block(head), judgmental also, determined to have her way,
doesn't care if she hurts her Mom (remember Amanduh's ruse to convince Mom
that Carl was having an affair?). Of course Josie's conduct gave Alli the
ammunition, but just because you have a weapon doesn't mean you should use
it (and yeah, she's only 15, but by 15 there should be some functional
braincells).

Please don't get me wrong, I don't like Josie either, but in a way, Josie
and Amanduh are cut from the same ugly cloth.

I missed yet another show. WAAA HAPPENED? Gary left town in shame?? Excuse
me, but wasn't he the only to claw his way out of that cave in to return to his
loving(term used very loosely) wife? He was the cheatee, not the cheater!

I think in the beginning jan, it was a mistake a lot of us made...feeling sorry
for Josie. She made her bed...now, let's see her try and sleep in

Weren't Josie and Amanduh friends at one time?? When Josie was dating Matt and
played by a different actress?? And who is older...Amanduh or Josie?

Ruth, I was speaking in terms of when Gary finds out her lies, he will
probably leave town in shame to explain JL's departure.... I still say it
should be Josie who leaves, and Gary who stays. I don't know for sure if that
is going to happen, but I suspect it will. I am disappointed with what has been
done to this character, as I used to like Josie, and even admired her. I even
thought Nadine Stenovich really wasn't too bad at first, but since they wrote
the Boca Lynda garbage it has been all downhill.....

Believe me Ronnie I was not exonerating any other character in this Amanda
sure could have put two and two together(Boca Lynda + seeing them on the
blanket = Josie is pregnant).... I just don't see how Josie can lay into other
people like this, when SHE is the one who caused it all to happen. She should
be more concerned with her husband, and frankly I don't see that. I see her as
being totally selfish. True, Allie may have been wrong in telling her mom when
she did, and is being judgmental, but I do believe she does love her mother and
didn't want to see her hurt either. Well, I would like to believe that anyway.

Was this before Josie stopped her slap to Amanda?? Before Allie showed up?? This
is actually appalling to me....Amanda hits a pregnant woman??? She really doesn't
have an ounce of compassion for the life that Josie is carrying....but hell why
should she....that little bundle obviously is making a fool of Amanda.....

While I thought the scene excellent, and for the first time, actually
enjoyed both actresses, Amanduh just became a real pig--her true colors
showing. You do NOT slap a pregnant woman. Okay, you do not perpetrate
violence on anyone, but this was really low. Even for the Cory Amundane.

Yes, I agree that Josie is totally self absorbed. Let's face it, the

Funny thing is....didn't Amanda say..."Go ahead...slap me....give me a reason to
slap you back...." what was the reason that Amanda would slap Josie this
time.??? After that line I thought Amanda was going to come out of this
confrontation with Josie with some class....but hitting a pregnant
woman?!?!?!?!?! Glad that I am NOT a soap actress!

Yabbut ... Josie didn't do it all by herself. While the whole storyline
at the time was a stinking crock with a shaky explanation, some folks do
react to losing a loved one (which they both believed at the time) by
trying to get close to another person, kind of as an affirmation of life.
A good friend of mine lost his wife and immediately (like two days later)
fell into bed with an old friend. Nothing came of it and he was
embarrassed that he had done it, but it seemed understandable at the
time.

FWIW, I think Amanduh needs to be reminded occasionally that she's not
some sweet goody two-shoes whom someone 'done wrong'. In all her screw
ups, she was an active part, either acquiescing to being taken advantage
of, or just plain stupid. It's a good reality check for her to know that
she's made mistakes, too.

Generally I like a good catfight, but you don't slap a pregnant woman, no
matte what, imo. I'd say that Josie showed more self-control, maybe because
she's a cop. Of course if she really had self-control, she wouldn't be
pregnant with Camerson's baby <G> -----

I can't dispute this Ronnie. You are indeed correct. After all, I may be
mistaken but did she not have an adulterous affair with Evan Frame? I know she
is far from innocent, and I am not defending her. Just not so quick to defend
Josie either at this point.

Ooh! Ooh! *wave* If you mean Tucci's Amanda and ESW, no they didn't have
an affair. Evan cared about Amanda, and they were interested in each
other...but the affair was totally in Grant's mind, and drove him to keep
Amanda paralyzed by denying her access to therapy--and her family. When
Grant shot himself and the fire started, it was Evan who saved Amanda.
But there was never an affair. After that, when Amanda was recovering,
Evan approached her, but she turned him down. Evan left town. *SOB*

Before I was watching, perhaps. While she was married to Sam? Could be.
If so...I hope SOMEONE reminds her.

I don't think either one is 'defensible' at this point, they're both such
a mess. Just can see taking one or the other's part - they're both so
obviously in the wrong because of what they've done, how they've reacted
and their continued obliviousness to reality. Frankly, they could both go
to h..l in a handbasket and I'd cheer.

the boinking was back while she was married to Sam.

I agree with everything you said Ronnie, the only problem is that I just can't
find any sympathy for Josie. In my head I know that what she said is true and
I really do believe that she feels she is doing this for Gary's sake but I
dislike this Josie so much that I don't care. I really do wish that they would
ship Josie off and keep Gary. I don't like him in this story either but I do
like him away from Josie.

And isn't Amanda overreacting a little bit. She already knew what Josie and
Cameron did on the beach and she already suspected that the baby was Cameron's.
Of course she is upset that Cam lied to her but she aught to be able to see
that he was protecting others and not just himself. If she was able to forgive
Cam for the incident on the beach then I would think that she could forgive him
for this.

That slap didn't bother me one bit, in fact I thought Josie was asking for it.
It was just an open handed slap to the face, not a punch or anything, so it
certainly didn't endanger Josie's pregnancy anywhere near as much as all this
verbal fighting and the keeping of secrets does. Josie was attacking Amanda's
daughter and saying that Alli only wanted to hurt her mother. I don't approve
of violence either but as a mother if someone attacked my daughter that way
they would be lucky if all I did was slap them. I know that most of what Josie
said was true but you don't attack a mother's child like that.

I wonder if Amanda would attack Josie and Cameron's kid like that.....esp. since IT
is the reason why the wedding didn't happen....LOL

I haven't any sympathy for either of them - just wanted to 'balance' the
discussion by pointing out that Amandud is hardly an innocent as she seems
to believe.

Lynda, I believe that Amanda and Evan Frame had an affair
while she was still married to Sam, and there was one
very hot and very memorable scene in a hot tub in his
apartment that many of us bring up now and then. I think
that her relationship with him was what broke up her
marriage to Sam. And didn't Carl(via Ito) try to kill Evan by
cutting the brake lines in his car, but Amanda happened
to be with Evan at the time, and was paralyzed in the
accident? It was while she was paralyzed that Grant
moved in on her, and they married while she was still
in the hospital. And Carl's role in her injury was
her justification for acting against him while he was
married to her mother.

Amanda would have no reason to attack the child in any way...none of this is

I feel the same way. So what if she's pregnant. Slapping her didn't do
anything to her or the baby. The way she's been so high strung, so
unhappy etc. will affect this baby more than one slap in the face ever
could.

I only Saw after he became a country music sensation (!) and then they
separated and he left town. I thought Ito did the brakes thing and then
confessed. Carl didn't know anything about it, really. Sorry I missed
the hot tub thing, but I do remember other's mentioning it now that I
think about it. That must have been Charles Flohe AKA Charles Grant as
Evan at that time. Whatacutie. SHOULDERS out to H-E-R-E and great eyes.

Actually I was talking about the character and NOT the actresses...Josie dated

Hold on just a minute!!! Carl didn't really want Evan killed -- Ito
misinterpreted a remark Carl made and took matters into his own hands. When
Carl found out that Ito had tampered with Evan's brakes, he ordered him to
disable the car so Evan couldn't drive it, but Ito didn't get to the car in
time. Carl tried to take the blame for the accident because he felt
responsible, but Ito confessed to the crime during Carl's trial.

Yes, Amanda & Evan in the hot tub was Charles Grant aka
Flohe, or Evan Bates or Evan #1. The brake line thingy was
with Eric Scott Woods or Evan Frame or Evan #2 or your
stunning b*st*rd who I spotted on SILK STALKINGS the other

Amanda was with RKK's Sam when Evan #1 intruded upon their
lives. Amanda was with Grant when Evan #2 came back to town.

Alexandra Wilson originally played Josie, farm girl & fresh

young & then went headlong into Brava, etc.

Right you are! Carl never set out to harm Evan,
it was Ito taking the initiative. Thanks for
