Amazingly, the AP got it wrong as usual. None of the sources list him as
ever having been on Y&R. He did a couple of days work on B&B and 3
appearances on Passions, but that's it.

"Life was treating him well," said Liz Hanley, Berg's agent. Not well
enough, obviously.

Nor could I find that he had been on General Hospital. According to IMDB he
only appears to have started working as an actor about ten years ago. I
wonder what he did for his first career.

Well, they get things wrong all the time! The art of writing a good correct
obituary is fast fading in this country. And, I know that I didn't find him
listed for either GH or Y&R, only for B&B. But, that often means nothing as
it is rare for an online source to be complete with an actor's credits.
Sometimes fans can recognize an actor & know he played things that aren't
listed.

That's interesting. When you look at the main page in IMDB for John Berg

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1295834/

It lists his various TV appearances under "filmography" with no mention of
GH. You have to click over to the "more detailed biography" to find the
rest of his work.
