***Making a Miracle (Pocket Books, 2000), by Hunter Tylor (Taylor, the B&B), is a terrific read. What a roller-coaster ride of
emotion it evokes!
book is purposely set up as a journey. Tylo became a devout christian many years into her acting career...finding God changed
her life and gave her the strength to face twin traumas in he successive years: her celebrated job-discrimination lawsuit against
the mighty Aaron Spelling, who fired her for becoming pregnant brefore she started a role on Melrose Place, and her newborn daughter
Katya's life-threatening retinoblastoma.
There were the frequent alcohol-fueled fights with husband Michael, their mutual jealousies (she was angry when AMC co-star Taylor
Miller, who played Nina, called their house when Miller and Michael had a hot storyline) and a candid recollection of Hunter's
infamous affair with a married man named Mehendra while making a miniseries in India. Then of course, there';s the bizarre
friendship (and boat business) the Tylos shared with Kimberlin Brown (then Sheila Carter on B&B, now Rachel on PC) and her husband,
Gary Pelzer. How sex-tinged was this relatiionship, and just who was sleeping with whom? The book teases mightily, but is coy on
specifics.
But Tylo does sling some good mud at Brown later in the book, especially when she exposes the fact that Brown gave authorities a
letter she wrote in which she sided with Michael, in an effort to keep Hunter from retaining custody of her kids. Hollyweird!
...Tylo found God. She confessed her deep willingness to serve him in an encounter with him in her bedroom closet, in which he
sends an electricity-like bolt through her believing body, so powerful she feels it in her ovaries! Soon after, she conceives baby

I just wonder how much of her "book" is just more Hollyweird hype?

The thinks about "Sheila" is really weird if you ask me....wouldn't she be pissed off if someone wrote something like that aobut
her if it wasn't really true?

I'll bet they were true. They were known as "best friends" on the set. Their
friendship ended - supposedly because Kimberlin sided with Hunter's husband in
the divorce situation. Apparently, Hunter tried to make up with Kimberlin
after the Tylos reconciled but was rebuffed. Maybe this is Hunter's way of
twisting the knife a little.
