What do you miss about him? I mean, is it just the stories he is
involved in or do you like the character? I know some people just
love Victor, but for the life of me I can't figure out why. If I knew
him in real life, I certainly would not like the man. The way women
swoon over him, especially Niki and Ashley, I just dont see the
attraction.

I think *the show* NEEDS someone besides Katherine and Jill as a core.
In that regard, if TPTB have the good sense to *keep them together
this time*, Victor and Nikki SHOULD be Y&R's core couple -- the
patriarch and matriarch of the show. Other than for that reason alone,
I don't miss Victor *at all*. I don't like the character and I
especially don't like the actor for his arrogant attitude, over-
inflated ego, and the extreme lack of public professional conduct and
respect he has repeatedly shown for his colleagues and employer.

He's the pattriarch. He reminds me a bit of my UB. He's got money and
doesn't put up with shit. I'm not attracted to him, I just the guy.

He always came across to me as very practical. He's got the money to

That storyline had me reaching for Niki's barf bag. Watching TGVN
swoon and coo over Sabrina - while she swooned and cooed back - was
just nauseating. And the whole ending, with Vic sending the pregnant
Love of His Life off in a car with an arch enemy like David Chow, was
just ridiculous. Then he goes off to pine away on some remote Mexican
beach, then tries to lose himself in a, what was it, monastery in
France, and Niki travels to wherever to find Ashley, who is the
ooooonly one who can bring him to his senses and return him to GC. Ow!

I liked it, though it had a lot of straight lines. I don't know why
that should bother me, but it seemed as if all those straight lines
were holding her back from really expressing what she wanted to say. I
looked at lots of the paintings, not just the first one. And I love
modern art, btw.

She's going through one of her phases, it appears. I like the stuff
she does that is a bit jazzy, but you can tell what it is. She's also
incorporated a lot of media in prior work that I also like.
Unfortunately, much of her work is less to please her than to please
the art buying public and gallery owners. She lives in New York and
you know New Yorkers :-)
