Rats -- that means the Bug will be rescued.

I really hope they aren't going to spend much time on Miles and Margaret
Dugan. Not only will the wedding between Paul and Bug be dull (as I'm sure
will be their short-lived union), but the M&M Dugan/Rainbow Gardens storyline
was excrutiatingly (SP?) dull the first time around. I really don't think I
can stand it again. It would be much more fun if Paul had Michael Baldwin as
his best man!!! Now wouldn't that be a riot?

I KNOW I can't stand it again! I will never forget one day when all the
old people from Rainbow Garders were whooping it up and cheering
"Christine! Christine! Christine!" I think she had just won the lawsuit
for them or something. I almost spit my Coke out and across the room when
I saw that one!

I don't understand why anyone would want to go to this wedding. It's been
cancelled twice already! I for one would just send a card with nothing
in it! who knows if this one will really happen!

Even worse--that means that THIS time there actually will be a wedding ceremony
for Clueless and the BUG.

This can't be happening!! I'm beginning to think TPTB really
do browse our newsgroup! In one of my posts a while back
I was griping about how they build relationships to look
meaningful and then just drop them. I cited those elderly
friends of the bug's as a mere example!! OH NO!!

Well, if you guys in charge are paying us some attention --
there have been far more interesting ideas in this newsgroup than
that one!!! We want MATT CLARK back!! And AMY!! And REX!!
And if someone is going to shoot at the bug, let them at least
use REAL bullets!!

Interesting post Deb. BTW, I read in Michelle Stafford's AOL
transcript, some of the Y&R people do read our posts. I understand
Shemar Moore surfs the net or at least has an Internet address. She did
mention a Y&R writer did, and inadvertently let it slip it was a female
writer. In the credits on the show yesterday - I only noticed one female
writer - Kay Alden, so you can believe what you want.

Sometimes, I too get an strange feeling our posts are being read,
especially when things happen on the show in a way we suggested or were
changed in a better direction. I also noticed the show's producer is
also now the show's director. I wonder if he surfs the net too, because
the show seems to be improving somewhat (hey, realize it's still far from
perfect and has many flaws). But I believe it's getting there.

Nevertheless, I believe they are working on turning the show around.
Hence, I give them a big pat on the back as such. Even Olivia's
performance has improved somewhat. At least she's not being hysterical
with a constant stream of tears running down her face. She's just
hysterical! I know she's a better actress than what she's being showing
the last six months or so.

HEY SHEMAR!! Send me email :)

Well, some things that we have discussed on this ng have turned up
on Y&R (eg: Adam shaved his mustache, they took the bug out of a
few storylines), so I wouldn't rule out the possibility of the
writers reading this. I just wish they'd take out GOOD ideas and
use them.

HEY WRITERS!!! Bring back Matt!!!!

Oh, I guess you haven't seen tomorrow's show yet :) Olivia makes a
couple of really stupid moves due to her excessive bawling and
hysterics.

She's just

I think it's because she finds it tough to act all upset over
losing a son who's played by such a HORRIBLE actor. ARRGH! I felt
like shooting the kid today!

Yes, I saw it last night, just when you think the actress who plays
Olivia is making progress, she starts slipping back. When my ex-husband
kidnapped my daughter, yes, I was upset, I was depressed, I was afraid
I'd never see my daughter again with his threats to take her to another
state unless I agreed to take him back.

But... I never even considered breaking down, got hysterical, wept
copious rivers of tears or stopped functioning as a calm, rational human
being. I still went to work, and did things like canvassing all his
known associates, relatives, co-workers etc. and asked their help in
getting my daughter back.

I never lost my determination and several weeks later, that is
exactly what happened without taking the s.o.b. back despite his threats
and demands. (Eventually, I did also send him to prison). All without
becoming a basket case! My motto is - the same fire that melts butter
makes steel strong.

I did notice that when Kay visited Nikki the other night they talked
about some of the things we've discussed here... almost verbatim, her
smiling more, being attractive, moving on with a new man to look forward
to in a new romance. It was great and I enjoyed the shining moment.

That was also a great move sending Olivia back to work on the writers
part. Just because you may be going through trying and tough times,
bills still come in to be paid, and work can be therapy that keeps you
head screwed on straight. I do feel like much of Tonya Lee William's
acting skills have been wasted by having her act like a hysterical, out
of control idiot. I have not found it to be entertaining, and it
detracted greatly from the drama and intrigue of the storyline itself.

And storyline quality is what made this show number 1, and it's
reputation. It will make or break a show. But I still see signs of
improvement and will continue to hope for the best. People don't
necessarily always want to other people copulating, see folks violently
killed, or psychos out of control.
