GL -- Recasting Roger Thorpe For 2009

Recasting Roger Thorpe For 2009 It would be great for the show and
probably the only way to restore respectability After all GL
definitely lacks quality story lines and it's been years since we've
been treated to stellar performances. Honestly, my primary reason for
continuing to watch the present (inferior and very disappointing GL
that Roger will return and once again be the focal point of
Springfield. A new Roger Thorpe might work for some and it might bring
the missing Thorpes back to the canvas but for me I can't see anyone
else in the role except Michael Zaslow. I wouldn't mind a long lost
Thorpe with Rogerish qualities perhaps a brother but Michael Zaslow
owned that role. The reason I wouldn't want to see Roger resurrected
it would be an insult to the actor and the character. MZ family in
addition to the promise in court that his role would never be part of
the story,again. I believe that it was a huge lawsuit over the way he
was mistreated at the time of firing and subsequent death seem to re
call that benefits like insurance were canceled when he was fired.
