ATWT: Tess Shelby

Can anyone give me a brief summary of this character, I know I was
watching ATWT when she was on, but I can't picture her or the story at
all. Was this during the time of Debbie and Hutch? Also, does anyone
know where I can find a picture of her on the internet? I have completely
drawn a blank on her character.

Tess stayed at barbara's house because she was hal's neice. i think this
was during the time everyone thought hal was dead. she and paul were
invloved, but tess only wanted him for his money. when paul heard tess
tell hutch that she loved him and only wanted paul for his money, paul
left town. tess hid this from barbara, but later when barbara found out
tess was the reason paul left town she was furious. anyway, tess and hutch
were together awhile and then comes along runaway rosanna who would not
tell anyone her last name. hutch fell for rosanna and tess left town. so,
to answer the original question, i don't think tess and debbie were ever
on at the same time, although i could be wrong.

Parker Posey played Tess Shelby. She has appeared in a few movies since
leaving ATWT.

Tess Shelby was Hal's sister. She came to Oakdale and lived with Barbara for
awhile. She was boy crazy. Also eager to have money. I think she tried to
go after Evan because he seemed to have money, but she fell for Hutch.
Can't remember where she went -- how they wrote her out...

Tess Shelby was Hal's niece. She came to visit and eventually stayed
with Hal and Barbara and went to school in Oakdale. She liked Hutch
but then focused on Paul because he was rich. She was a schemer.
The actress Parker Posey played Tess Shelby.

Tess was Hal's niece, She was the daughter of his sister who lives
back at the family cabin/house where Hal's father lives. I can't remember
the sister's name. Anyone?

Tess left in disgrace right after her boyfriend Hutch figured out that
she'd lied about being pregnant. And she lied b/c she was afraid Hutch
was about to dump her in order to pursue Rosanna (he was).
She'd implicated Courtney and I think Andy in her scheming, so she was
humiliated in front of them as well once they figured out she'd been
faking. (I remember she told Courtney she was taking the bus out of
town to get an abortion and a worried Courtney alerted Hutch so he could
go "stop" her. But Courtney and Hutch realized they'd been duped and
that Tess had waited hours at the bus station for Hutch & never
intended to leave.)

If you want a picture of Parker Posie (Tess), check out "Party Girl" at
the video store - she stars in the movie (a cool one, too!)

I loved Tess Shelby and Parker Posey and was
sorry to see her go. This may explain why I
have never, ever liked Rosanna. And I thought
Hutch was an idiot. It does not surprise me
to see Parker turning up in feature films. You
go girl!
