So presumably this storyline with the drugging of Lucinda will wrap fairly

Hey, I like Gabe, with his ever-shifting hair. And the accent makes me
think of him as Carl Hutchins Lite (OK, very light). Ruby, well, the
actress needs some more seasoning, but she's not exactly talent-free.

BTW, I too liked Ritchie Coster, I thought he was a great actor, just
stuck with a horribly stupid character. I think Ritchie was the only
thing that allowed me to be able to watch those scenes. As for
whatsherface, she was okay, I have nothing against her, infact I loved her
scenes with Katie, Simon & Lily.

Yes, completely serious, no, not joking at all. We can begin to count

Great? Well, no way to tell from this particular horrid character.
But, as Frank noted, his voice & use of it reminds me of CK, which is
a very good thing, and, I find I keep wondering if he is related to
Nicholas Coster, also another good thing were it to be true & not just
my brain spinning.

Yippeee! DonnaB - you've made my week! I was sure hoping that Hogan had
written them into a corner. I just hope Rose and Katie both get to have at
Ruby before she goes. Or as Rose calls her, "the Brazilian hottie." LOL!

Someone estimated that they were a full 4 weeks ahead of themselves
recently. With summer vacations coming up & that week they sometimes
go dark in July, I figure that we may still be stuck with 3-4 weeks of
it, but, SURELY if she is out of a job now IRL & he is either already
gone or soon going, then, it can't be much longer, .... can it? I hate
to whimper & all but I detest this storyline & those characters!

I'm pleased to see that Hogan realizes when something isn't working. I
personally had warmed up to Ruby (not so much Gabe) a little bit, but
the overall feeling from fans and critics was not even close to
positive. Either way, although I could tolerate them, not sorry in the
slighest to see them go.

well, since Cassandra Creech's last tape date was in febuary and she left
our TV in April, we've got a while to wait.

Well, his diction's lots better. Don't get me wrong, Coster is a good
actor, but every now and then he sounds drunk when his charcter isn't.
Maybe he chews ice or something between scenes.

I tend to agree. It's making some smart characters look stupid. But it's
not too late to resolve it almost honorably. For me, that would mean
Simon finding out about it and, keeping true to his promise to Lily,
exposing the whole thing in the nick of time. And that would keep him in
Oakdale to explore the implications (well, not so much implied as shouted
from the rooftops) of his scenes with Katie today.

Can you expound on this? I have been known to chew ice
occasionally and, as far as I know, I've never sounded drunk as a
result. Am I the last to know some interesting tidbit?

I am so glad to hear this...could it be TPTB at ATWT are getting a
little bit of common sense? Could it be that Lucinda is NOT going to
be completely dumbed down? Will she 'see the light' before she's so
completely drugged out and realize that she is being systematically
driven insane by the use of some kind of drug (and who is the newest
member of her household staff who would able to slip drugs in her
food/drinks).
Not only do I want to see Katie and Rose pin Ruby to the wall, I want
to see Lucinda learn the truth about her and totally destroy the
sneaky little b**ch (not to mention, destroy Gabe, Simon, and Craig
for participating in /masterminding the evil plot).
